What defines 'a good citizen' of Eve?

In the old adage, "United we stand, divided we fall" did not take into account Capsuleers that rise again and again after the fall.

A lot of you shooting me, a lot of me shooting you. Nothing says I love you like a Killmail. Thus...

Divided we are strong through adversity. We need not ever agree. We fight for resorces and power.

BUT BUT BUT - What defines a 'good citizen' in Eve with all that above.

Redemption is a powerful word. But to some, words have no meanings. For me, actions are louder than words, but can an entire Coalition in Eve redeem itself and become Good Citizens?

Redemption [ri-demp-shuh n] noun
1. an act of redeeming or atoning for a fault or mistake, or the state of being redeemed.
2. deliverance; rescue.
3. Theology. deliverance from sin; salvation.
4. atonement for guilt.
5. repurchase, as of something sold.
6. paying off, as of a mortgage, bond, or note.
7. recovery by payment, as of something pledged.

This is certain. Change is upon us all. A storm within the fifth empire, is spilling into the other four. Like a Lobster placed in a pot of water we Capsuleers are only now feeling it getting warm. The Lore is in our face and soon it shall be boiling.

What defines a 'good citizen' in Eve?

A good citizen is one who didn't smoke whatever it was you got a hold of this morning before you typed up this post Twisted

As to your question, people will show up here with all manner of subjective self serving answers that will amount to "what I do constitutes a good citizen".
The truth is actually objective: A Good Citizen of New Eden is one who plays the game within the rules of the EULA no matter how loose some might consider those rules. That includes gankers, scammers, awoxxers, war deccers, null blob-lords, F1 monkeys, mission runners, afk miners, miner bumpers , afk cloakers , carebears and all the rest.

CCP deals with the bad citizens by making them non-existant citizens.

"Good, bad... I'm the guy with the gun." A "good citizen" of New Eden does not exist. Every capsuleer does something another capsuleer finds appalling. We're all just shades of grey.

New Eden isn't nice. It isn't friendly. It isn't very hospitiable. Good thing there are people here to shoot in the face.

Want to make New Eden a nice place? Try this out.

Just like in life, there is no good citizen or bad citizen,.. good or bad is only a matter of perception in the whole universe.

A supernova completely destroys entire galaxies and its pure nature, do you consider it good or bad? Be careful what you choose, remember its nature. If there is no such a thing as good or bad in nature, why are you trying to make us all put stamp on something as good or bad? Keep it for you because its only relevant within you.

The closest even though still far away of being a good citizen, is when you do what you want and are truthful towards everything and everyone around you, destroying them or helping them.

I, Claudia, the goddess of the IGS, decrees that there is no good or evil. Only the divine chaos,
a state of being that is the embodiment of my will and glorious plans.

A little trust goes a long way. The less you use, the further you'll go.

Aww, I was expecting some CFC morphs into Imperium propaganda.

I am disappoint.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

We are not 'citizens' thats a different game.

I reject yoru definition of good and bad, as there is no good or bad, just humans being human. Good and bad is a matter of perception

Go quietly amid the noise and the haste,
Avoid loud and aggressive persons for they bring drama,
Listen for the newbie with the brain worth cultivating,
Prepare for the enemy's onslaught,
Attack thine enemy from the front,
Crushing them and showing them the might of right is behind you,
Allow the industrial to pass in peace,
and the miner to go about his quiet toiling in the belts.

CCP - Building ant hills and magnifying glasses for fat kids

Not even once

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

Someone who generates content that is either positive or negative depending on your association and opinion of said content. Sometime the best people in the game are the ones who don't even realize they are generating content for other people.

All those folks who die in belts everyday to CODE. are the real heroes of EVE, they provide unending content to a select group of people, they embody the entire spirit of EVE.
