A lot of people find a community in their language that help them sink into the game. Then they learn what they need such as "primary" "target" "over heat" and can know the sounds without having the full meaning.

EVE is becoming shallow and puerile; it will satisfy neither the veteran nor the "WoW" type crowd in the transition.

Nearly impossible to do based on only the input text. A proper translation needs context and intent, which is all in the head of the person typing the message. So in order for a translating algorithm to get this right the person typing needs to add extra information dedicated to the translating algorithm, so it can get context and intent correct before translating.

If you don't do this you get the crap that Google translate spits out. It's great for inspiration when you're doing translation work yourself, but it's horrible for translating text on its own.
