Is market escrow pooled together?

Right now, I've got a -very- little quantity of isk in wallet and a whole bunch tied up in escrow. Question:

Is ALL of that escrow pooled together in one fund or is it split up by order?

Specifically, let's say hypothetically I had placed a buy order for 1 billion isk on a really expensive item. With escrow skills maxed I would only pay out 240m isk out of the wallet to place the order and put into escrow. The other 760 million would remain in my wallet. Now let's say that I use 600 million of the 760 still in my wallet to set up multiple new orders. In the end, I'm left with a bunch of buy orders, and we'll say in our example that I have 2 billion isk in escrow, but only 160 million isk in wallet (this is possible, trust me). If someone sells to my 1 billion isk buy order will it pull from the communal group of 2 billion isk in escrow or will it require that I have at least 240 million isk in my wallet and the remaining 760 million would be pulled from escrow?

Split by order.
