On closing wh's...

WH's have a +/- 10% variance in mass.

For example, a H296 has 3 bn kg mass, +/-10% which means it ranges from 2.7 bn to 3.3 bn.

My question is, is the range (in this case) of 2.7 - 3.3 bn a continuum, or is it discrete? That is, can this wh have any value between 2.7 bn and 3.3 bn, or is it limited to the three exact options of 2.7, 3.0, and 3.3 bn?

I've closed many wh's, but I often don't know how much ship mass has gone through before I found it, so I haven't yet gotten to this level of accuracy. My impression is that it is a continuum, but I guess someone here knows for sure.

Thanks in advance,
Newt.

It is not a multiple choice of three if that is what you are asking. My experience is that it is a random value within the plus or minus range. Behavior seems to be a simple random variation and not a bell curve tending toward nominal.

Excellent, that's exactly what I was asking. It also affirms my impression.

Thank you,
