I've noticed a new flavor of reporting on the EVE World News, with stories about player corporations and the little gripping dramas of small groups. Good stuff!

I do hope that people are actually noticing it. On the whole, the news page (as a 'roleplayer thingy') never got a lot of attention from the playerbase at large, maybe this can change that.

Just please tell me that the news from the NPC Sphere won't be scaled back even further (is that possible?) as a result of the new focus, eh?

As far as I know, ingame NPC-related news and stories is a work of another team altogether, so it shouldn't be a problem.

They've been doing a great job of integrating player and NPC news in the Scope videos, I'd have to say. The news ticker in particular has been a point of interest for lore hounds. ;)
