How is somebody called who kills the gankers' haulers for loot?

You guys might laugh at anti-gankers, but considering gankers tend to send more isk at a target, alter their fits to resist ECM, and several high profile gankers have recently thrown in the towel with at least one citing anti-gankers as a primary reason, they must be doing something right.

And at the end of the day, threads like these show that anti-gankers are having an effect. When they did nothing, nobody really mentioned them. Now they are actually achieving results, these threads are popping up in an effort to shame them.

Just curious about what they gain from it. But l would not say that getting a km with a ganker is much of a result.

Looking over a few days worth of your killboard, it appears that you're mostly flying a Thrasher and your primary targets are frigates in a 0.5 security system. I assume you often take out your targets in a single volley - in which case, yeah, there's absolutely nothing a white-knight can do to save your target, beyond suicide-ganking you which I assume they're not interested in doing.

But I doubt they know right away what you're shooting when you go red. If it turns out that your target needs two volleys from you to be taken out, and they can in turn volley you before the second, then they can save the target.

In fact, far as I can tell from your killboard, that might actually be happening at times? I see some instances where you die to sentry guns and a player, yet there's no associated kill from you - so I assume you initiated a gank but failed?

Oh, and I also see what appears to be you whoring on kills - for example, a recent Tornado - that's taken out by sentry guns, so it's not just the white-knights doing it, and maybe they're doing that for the same reasons you do.

Gnakers now use more ECCM and throw more ISK at a target to get around the loss of DPS to AGs. Gankers like Globby publicly announcing their retirement from ganking citing anti-gankers as a heavily contributing factor. The goal of AGs is to make ganking more difficult, to add effort to easy ganking, and with that they succeed.

Entertainment I suspect. This is a game after all. Players set themselves goals and accomplish them for the entertainment of playing and the feeling of accomplishment.
