Lack of Items in Market

At the 10th anniversary Hilmar told us his story about how,
in the beginning times of the game,
he borrowed a Thorax from a corpmate
who didn't know he was the CEO of CCP hf.

He cruised around with it on autopilot ...
... went afk ...
... and lost it.

Instead of simply spawning it, as he easily could have,
he MINED the **** out of a belt,
while working,
with his baby Eva on his arm.


And THAT'S the spirit!

No whining,
no easymode,
pure hardcore mining for a Thorax although he didn't even need to.

His issue is that it's listed on the market, but not in game ANYWHERE. Regardless of what he does. At least in your Thorax example there was a means to getting that end. If it's listed on the market, it should be seeded in game, somewhere, somehow. Rather than just added to the market and never released to the players..

You know what happens if they push all items into the NES at once?

Not only will the UI be a horrible mess ...
... PLEX prices will go through the roof.

well that wasn't made clear, (though I'll admit I never asked)
I do feel that for those things that aren't available yet in NEX/game, there should be some sort of 'coming soon' thing to indicate it's not available, but is planned

For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it [u]WILL[/u] be.

Well I searched market history , did the contract seach- as well as aurum store - there are a lot of things which are mising., which you cant get anywhere.

Put up buy orders and put "willing to pay through the nose" as the purchase price. If there is one out there - it'll find you.

Admitting right off that I could care less about the space barbies aspects of the game, I will say this. Some of the guys in my corp make a lot of isk off of space barbies. Some nonsense about rare t-shirts and limited run tatoos. I think part of the price of playing space barbies is that it's a niche thing (as clothes don't affect game play in any way) and CCP or speculators can pretty much swing the market a lot. Face it, a yellow cat suit will never be as common as a thorax.

Some of these items have been listed on the market since before this account was created. These aren't new clothing like the recent additions. Much of this is clothing that was added to the market back in the beginning.
They have had LOTS of time to cycle it though the store if they wanted. We're talking YEARS here..

But if not, just remove it from the market. If there's no plans to sell Dress X, then don't list it. Any item that CANNOT be obtained in any way less devhax shouldn't be seen on the market at all.. (less a few of the rare ships where all the added ones have been destroyed.. that's just legacy..)

This is too self indulgent to qualify as even a first world problem. There are freed minmatar slaves living in squalor all across Derelik and all you can worry about is some barbie outfit that is listed but not seeded in the market?

There are actual game issues that could use dev time. I've taken the liberty of mailing you a Malibu Barbie Beach Party playset. Please go wait by your mailbox until it arrives.
