I was with a group that tried to hit a 100 pilot multiboxed nightmare fleets last year. The lag was so bad that my first bomb didn't activate until some of my allies were dead. I ended up getting 8 of their pods. The nightmares just microjumpdrived to safety.

So you lost (at least) 26 identically fit pirate battleships, in highsec?

Don't feel bad, OP. You blew up an incursion fleet.

QFT.

And as was said, Losses in TiDi are nothing new, lots of them happened in big Null fights.

"producers are lame today, we had problems to get them all in one turn"

Producers? No. Here is where you see the end result of gank-dbag-proliferation.

Doing what you were doing is exactly what led to your difficulties rounding up your ships... this and miner ganking, freighter ganking, pretty much any indy ganking. Imagine flying in fully subbed T3s for 100m ISK. Nope, gotta gank the indys.

Keep it up though, maybe next time you'll be forced to use T1 BS...

It's a known fact that TiDi + Crimewatch (and every other process that runs in Highsec but not in other areas of space) don't always play well together.

Anyone remember the first Burn Jita? That first night, where TiDi did it's thing, but Concord wasn't setup to account for it, so you'd kill a flashy red, then die yourself cause it was no longer Red to Concord.. I doubt what happened was any designed mechanic, just a Glitch in the matrix that is hard to find due to the fact that very little "large scale" happens in highsec with TiDi and Crimewatch.

Yeah, I remember being that flashy red, and being unable to undock even well after my criminal timer ran out because the station guns would shoot me.

That's been a glitch for quite a while before crimewatch or TiDi

Are you sure mister "I'm sore at CCP for server related ruination of my carefully planned lulz OP"? Are you absolutely sure? Because the first statement, made by you, makes the second one seem kinda not smart. Demonstrably, yes, you should have made a reinforcement notification. Now if you had done that, and CCP said "derp, < 300 players expected, no", then you might have cause for complaint when things didn't work out.

But these two statements together say, "I made a mistake, and now I ardently and willfully refuse to learn from it."

Once Eve Online was known as "Massive Multiplayer" game.... Now it does not support 50(?) battleships on the field?

I'll be surprised if not only do you not get your ships back, but some of you don't get temp bans for "deliberately inducing server lag".

It's a pretty well known fact that smartbombing large-ish groups of ships in high sec will produce mind numbing levels of lag as the server tries to spawn concord for every ship you hit - and everyone else in your fleet is doing the same thing. You did it to yourself, and have no one but yourself to blame.

That said, good on you for creating content.

Causing lag as a SIDE effect of justified gameplay (aka violence) is NOT somethign will ban you for. It is not like dropping shuttles around a station for nothing but causing lag.

At least I would have tried this to be sure ... highsec generates much more load than nullsec due to crimewatch. But I think the main problem was, that Concord is apparently not affected by TiDi (has computing priority).

Uh, Concord should have priority.
Otherwise you could deliberately exploit that to induce lag and be able to gank far far more than you should be able to before concord responds. Lets get serious here and not make exploiting Concord that easy.

You also went after buffer fitted omni tanked battleships with your attack, who can overheat hardeners and are well trained at doing so when in dangerous situations, incursion fleets are not 'afk' miners (who are a mythical beast anyway for the most part) in 10k EHP ships.
