You should ask them what they want a non-expiring API for. If you think their explanation is good then give them it, if you don't think their explanation is adequate then tell them and look for a different corp.

All security must be checks and all checks must be secure.
Scrambling with Tisker.dll will allow for more checks with more security.
Full API allows us to see if you have been inappropriate with the universe.

In any case... don't give away a full API.

They have no right to demand your private messages
and it provides literally zero security for anyone.

The API security is as secure as a door with a lock ... Zero.
It only keeps those out who wouldn't have broken in anyway!

It's so easy to circumvent,
all you need is a fresh account.

API checks are a pointless procedure for citizens ...
... while not providing any security from real terrorists.

Used to ask API keys, and it did help in one small awox attempt. Director noticed what was happening early, confirmed who had taken the stuff, removed all access rights and when I logged in had all the evidence ready for me in mail. Awoxer got away with 400milj worth of stuff, but could have been worse. API keys are useful not just when recruiting.

Fun fact: The thief we recruited was the only one we have ever recruited via open advert. Can confirm that most efficient way to recruit trustworthy people is by shooting them into face instead.
