Looting corpmates towers

When is being a thief.. not? Some of the towers are/were running out of fuel and going offline. I had tried to help by fueling, but it got pricey fast. Cheaper and easier to move the arrays, hangers and ships to my tower. Its been 2 weeks since i saved their tower and still not a word from the guys. I know its a very wide net being cast, but when is enough enough and I just say "I care more than you, your assets are now mine?"

Shoulda let the tower run out of fuel. The minute it goes offline you remove the stuff and call it yours. You 'saved it from the heathens that surely would have destroyed it'

In your situation if they come back either they compensate you for your effort and costs of fueling there tower or you keep there stuff. Pretty simple really

If you hadn't taken it, some guy in a bomber would've swung by and popped the SMA/CHA and scooped everything. My approach is to tell people "don't let your personal POS come within 24h of going unfueled or I'm taking everything and keeping it." I've only had to do that once and they were not happy about it.

like 4days ago there was 13bill pos killmail so best to prevent this whent owers are on verge of going offline, unanchor all arrays and store in yours , once owners return and they fuel their towers , best would be to give them back. dont be thief, be a nice guy

Never not secure your mates' stuff.

Also, confirming the loot faerie hates my guts. I got more moon goo from the silo than anything else.

Can confirm Aquila abides by this rule as his stuff became mine during his last stint of inactivity.

It's not being a thief. It's called recovering fuel cost. If they don't care about their assets, you just saved it so that it stays in corp and not on KB. Any assets recovered from failing towers that owners fail to fuel become yours.

Didn't you just make a thread right above above this one asking why ppl evict the little guy and then get confronted with the fact you stole 60bill from your corpmembers? In your case it's clear cut stealing. The OP here is just looking out for his mates' assets.

So that was your excuse to awox your whole corp eh? Good for you! Roll

I'll also add i personally would never just take ownership of someone elses stuff. I might borrow it and get it blown up though and I think thats acceptable. I've got a couple corp mates that have been inactive for a while and I just moved their stuff to jita with my hauler. It hurts nothing to let it sit in a hangar in high sec, but I'm also less of a douche than 85% of wormhole space. your mileage may vary.

Cause he did nothing wrong in removing all corp member roles and stealing all their stuff. Sociopaths and trolls are made for each other. You should join his corp.
