Legal Status of Harvested Infomorphs

I confess that I have a serious breach of understanding in my knowledge of citizenship and legal status which grant basic rights to the citizens of New Eden (what, with the potential of A.I walking about, cloned mind-states, and now with harvested clone infomorphs being utilized by third-party ego-memes). What's a citizen to do when his or her infomorph falls into the cold, undulating tentacle-claws of a Seeker drone that plucks the brain-scorched meatmorph from its silent gravitational drift?

Do we as 'former' owners and once occupiers of this infomorph still hold claim over it? This clearly represents a serious breach of privacy and personal security. Who will the Empyreans be able to trust if any one of their clonemorphs can be whisked away by scavengers?

As they are now operating as, apparently, sentient beings within the infomorph body of what can be still be considered an Empyrean for all intents and purposes, can they also now be considered a member of whatever empire said infomorph called home (or modern Anarcho-Capitalist prison system that we call Caldari)? Are we absolutely sure everything of the originator is scoured? We know nothing of their technology except that they are the progenitors of the mind-state coherence technology of those murderous mercenaries in Molden Heath! Certainly, their knowledge in this realm exceeds our own.

What my ego-meme remained, even a sliver? That's practically kidnapping! Where's the justice? Where's Concord? Where's my galactic space lawyer in his Gallente shades and crisp Caldari suit with the passion for legal dogma and double-meanings of an Amarrian Missionary?

Tongue-in-cheek post. Really, though. Sup with the legal status of our infomorphs? That's pretty much identity theft.

Biomass is biomass.

As much as a person whom I podded holds claim over his frozen corpse which I keep in my hangar.

Yeah but that's totally a non-inhabited body. These dudes are totally walking around with some of our faces. Right now, I'd like to announce that I'll be starting the first New Eden Life Alert program. Identity theft needs to be taken more seriously.
