The question of supply is an interesting one: As can be seen here - https://zkillboard.com/ship/34590/losses/ around ten are destroyed on a good day. Then, there is a certain number which are either claimed and lost to errors, forgotten about, or no longer available due to an inactive account.

A lot of attrition variables are in play. Smile

Or imagine this: it's been 5 years since the giveaway, price is going up and suddenly CCP decides it's time to make a blueprint for the yacht, and your 1000 pieces in the hangar begin to dive in the pacific Big smile

Where are the these notions of BPOs coming from? Roll

You have to consider what this unique Yacht signifies - http://community.eveonline.com/news/dev-blogs/fanfest-2015-worlds-collide/

This ship will be given once - and only once. The losing server will never receive it. Ever.

I almost feel bad for the Chinese. But they manufacture pretty much everything else in the World, so they'll get along with it P

I've made a remark on how they roll over there in the following post - https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=5701514#post5701514

It is also interesting to note that variety and customisation is the heart beat on Serenity - http://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/2tg4kh/chinese_mach_skin_i_want_one/ & http://www.reddit.com/r/Eve/comments/2tg4kh/chinese_mach_skin_i_want_one/cnyr4yd

Comes with the culture. Smile

Only we in the West could be content with the same monotonous designs for over a decade, though the introduction of various T2 trees did spice things up, and I remember aiming to train for certain ships merely because they had a different colour palette at that time. P

The Yacht bestspaceship is selling for the price of a Gnosis right now, if you discount the building cost. Smile

I personally bought 10 of them, as one of my first investments. I see them as valuable for a couple of reasons, among which are the reasons I used them :D. First, they provide bubble immunity for people who don't have skills. As a new player in null, this was my only option for moving around safely. With 3 align time rigs I had about a 1 second align time. If you're mart and put 4 stabs in the low slots, the probability of death is ludicrously small. They're also great for scouting; they have the cov ops, to stay cloaked, but also don't get caught by the bubbles they're looking for. They also look great. Plus, I really don't seeing them dropping in price very much, because they've been stable for a while. And of course, once prices start to creep up just a bit due to ship losses, people will start rushing in to buy them, which is great if you get in early.

Aye, but one second align times would be an exaggeration - around 2 seconds is doable w/ Serpentis Inertials. Smile

No skills required, bubble-immune, EHP of a Battlecruiser, 6 AU/s base warp speed, Covops cloak! Best spaceship.

I can confirm that

1 second = 1 second plus 2 second decloak delay = 3 seconds at all

As far I have understood it

Nope. Cuz cloak drops as soon as you start moving, it just looks like it's still on becuz animation. Cloak id irrelevant.

I know, all I wanted to say is, some guys think the align time is after the animation has finished :)

ah, gotcha. No, it is about between 1-2 seconds with my skills plus the low fric nozzle joints x2 and the poly carbon x1

The raw align time is 2 seconds or more on this cruiser.

Cloak reactivation is milliseconds, but I think in actuality it is more due to server tick rate.
