ATTN Breaking Remap/Attribute news! U gonna be mad btw

Just happened. All new toons start with FOUR (4) Bonus remaps IN ADDition to the 1 timed one.
So go make a new toon, see you have FIVE (5) remaps avaliable.

Yeah but they were gonna remove attributes. I will find that threadnaught. Ccp darwin talks a ton in it im p-sure its him, well some1 anyways. I guess if they b adding remaps, they aint gonna remove the freaking attribute system hmm?

No need to find the threadnaught. It wasn't that long ago and I was against the removal of attributes on the basis of simplifying the game when simple isn't needed.

CCP still might remove attributes. This may be an interim change. Who knows. They'll do what they think they need to in order to increase new player retention.

As for demanding the extras, just biomass and start again if it is that important to you.

58page mega thread we just had about how they gonna remove them. Ccp darwin made like over 15replies in it 2 before ezdwall locked it. Guess thats off table now?

And Seriosuly why nothing from ccp when they implemented this major change???????!?

Good. I hope they get rid of it all while they are at it. And if any bittervets complain and try to say it made the game better I hope CCP beats them with sticks.

It's been a feature of the game for several days. Just because it somehow evaded your attention doesn't mean lots of other people don't already know about it.

Perhaps CCP will put "theyre (sic) response" in this thread.

I'm happy to see that CCP seems to steer away from "remove choices because :effort:". I don't rally see the need for an extra remap but it's not really that important or game breaking. It IS a bit weird that this was not in any way explained or mentioned somewhere.

Why should we be mad about it?

So how do people find out about this feature? Some kind of silent advertising promotions? Ccp seriosuly? Everytime u patch without posting patch notes people yell, yet u implent this major change and just silense dor "several days" accouriding to dude?

I didn't know about this either.

I trained the hard way, including the learning skills remember those?

It is already a lot quicker to train a new character from scratch than it used to be.

Aha, so WE should be mad because YOU didn't get something. My character is not even 2 months old, I also didn't get it. If CCP decides to retro actively give young characters the extra remaps I'd like that but if they choose to not do so (because it's arbitrary as fck) then I'm also fine with it.

I approve of this change as it can help newbros.

Removal of attributes would be the next step in dumbing down the game, which I would not approve of.

Perhaps CCP anticipated a tsunami of vet tears and tried to sneak it in on the quiet. Surprised it wasn't mentioned officially, tbh.

What I observe from the OP, with me taking the position of the OP ...

.) CCP said they do something and thus have to do it. They are not allowed to change their minds. This might
or might not be connected to me favouring CCP's idea and thus being angry about it not happening.
.) I deserve this too. I feel treated unfairly, because others are getting something I am not. I am envious.
.) I definitely lack the wisdom to understand that proper spelling is important.
.) I am ignorant, because I don't care that proper spelling is important.


I'll conclude my observations, with:

I am a self entitled, envious person that is in EVE to escape from reallife.
Also, I believe that most people share my feelings (!) and thus jump on the bandwagon of hate.
