Jump Fatigue going up without jumping

Ever have the random days tacked onto your jump fatigue timer? Well I did a few days ago. I went back and forth on a JB moving assets and got up to just over 8 hours of jump fatigue. I log off to got to work. I work a 12 hour shift thus, when I get home I can continue to move my home. Hell's No said the game and gave me 3 days 18 hours of jump fatigue. Holy crap right. So basically my weekend off is shot and CCP has yet to even respond to my ticket.

Question: Does this happen a lot?

If so, does CCP really hate null sec that much?
