Intergalactic Summit

Just an hour or so ago I was making my way through Amarr space, and decided to set a circuit of jumps that would take me through the Dom-Aphis System, site of The Peralles Incident

When I jumped into the system, my scan overview picked up a 'Jove Observatory' and decided to investigate. I found one of the massive structures that have been appearing as of late, the Circadians that orbited it did not engage or scan me, and either went somewhere or docked up as they disappeared from visual range. Granted, I was in a Minmatar shuttlecraft at the time, so I would have been an easy target. Perhaps they did not consider me a threat, not sure.

I took the risk of staying, brought my shuttle to within 500 meters for a close-in orbit and scan with what limited sensor systems are onboard a shuttle, and then jumped out without further incident.

Dunna bout any connection, but I did think it was interesting.


It may not be there now, but there is another Observatory in the Ashab system, right outside the Amarr's door in a manner of speaking.

This time I took my Echelon with me, with purloined Sansha tech codebreaker on board. Once again no problems closing with the structure, but no had joy with the codebreaker when I locked on, fired up the data systems, and tried to make a connection to attempt a hack of the Observatory systems.
