So, yesterday 03/25/15 there was a chance for severe weather in Oklahoma, USA, my home state, sure enough at by 1600 central daylight time things were ramping up, and a little more than an hour later reports of high speed winds of 80+ miles per hour, hail, and tornadoes touching down came in.

One hit the Tulsa, OK area where I live. The touchdown was north and northwest of me across the city, and destroyed several buildings, about 50 or so mobile homes, a gymnast non-profit academy that had sixty people inside, little girls and adults. the gym owner was watching the weather broadcasts and got her staff and girls into cover in the building basement when the sirens lit off - no injuries there and Tulsa fire department extracted them.

about 30 people were injured, and unfortunately one fatality. more twister touched down to the south in the Oklahoma city and Moore, Oklahoma area.

Were right in the middle of 'Tornado Alley' home to some of the most insane weather on the planet and more tornado touchdowns than any other place in the world.

If this link works the photo is not by me. Tulsa Area Tornado

Frankly, I prefer the EVE Battlecruiser, myself. :)

I hope both you and everyone in that area are safe and ok. Tornadoes, even small ones, are no small matter. Stay safe.

Thanks. this came out with an EF-2 rating, 125-135mph wind speeds, fortunately it lifted back up just before it got to town.

We get an occasional twister in our neck of the woods but nothing compared to you folks. Keep your heads down and fire the 1600's.

trailer parks have magnets in them that attract tornadoes.

it is known.

It's true. There can be 6 swirling clouds in the green sky area. But the one that twists down to earth for 45 seconds runs right through a trailer park. WTH? Anybody ever seen any recorded stats on that? There must be an explanation.

Good to hear it missed you OP. My relatives in Moore, OK and Noble, OK have been through quite a few tornadoes. My cool smokey wilderness hunter/fisherman/great taxidermy artist cousin had his truck pushed from his driveway through his garage. Further south in central Texas, we had a poor cow exploded by lightning from a tornado that wiped out nearby Salado, TX. 'd take an East Coast hurricane over a twister. You get days of winds wrecking stuff, but at least it's not so all or nothing random.
