I'm struggling to understand why anybody would want to join GOONS. Outnumbering an enemy by 2-1, knowing they could crush their foes yet blueballing their opponents just to deny the enemy any kind of fight. They openly admit their only tactic is superblob or blueball, no in between. They claim holding SOV is all that matters. How can anybody in CFC actually enjoy this kind of crap? Is the whole motivation of the CFC line member just filling his wallet with ISK?

I always thought Gevlon Goblin's hatred of Goons was rather sad but after reading this bull I'm now in agreement with him. GOON leadership mentality is all about marshalling f1 scrubs to help keep their ISK empire in place and they have no interest in providing their line members with meaningful content.

So again, why would anybody volunteer to become a GOONBOT?

I just read that whole pastebin, the answer you seek is in there:

The CFC is currently engaged in Dominion Sovereignty Warfare. Sov warfare isn't "nice". It isn't "gudfites". It's largely about weaponizing your enemies boredom.

ISK wars and killmails count for nothing in this kind of battle. Winning timers and flipping systems is the goal. If undocking and taking a fight doesn't advance either of those strategic objectives, then undocking is dumb.

FYI: From what I've heard from various sources in both camps, BL, NC. and The Kadeshi have also done their fair share of blueballing this campaign.

Reminds me of the times of BoB, when in-fighting along with renters being duped, abandoned and rekt everywhere, as sov holders scrambled to protect their space holdings.

Little groups would then bite off bits and pieces from the largest entities in null, just as the main war was in full effect.

yep I was approached by goons several time now, each one trying to get in a scam for me to give them isk. still hasn't worked.

Probably a fight that feels at least somewhat 'fair'. A fight where the win could go either way.

Thing is, like the Goons so expertly pointed out, 'fair' fights don't win wars. Gaining sov is hard work. Keeping it is even harder work. Can't blame them for using 'cheap' tactics to win the important fights. No point in making things harder on yourself than they need to be at the end of the day.
