Deleted everything EVE related from my computer.. from x86, program data, Users local data, documents, and ran a registry cleaner to clean up the mess left behind.

This happenes when I tried to patch my game as always and it happens after I cleaned up everything from the computer like I stated above.


Download Launcher and run it,.
Launcher updates very quickly and shuts down.
Nothing happens.
I restart the Launcher
Launcher downloads 284mb of data and says "ready to play"
I click play and get the following error once again.


Verification Failed: 'C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\Bin\Staticdata\blueprints.db', crc29589b99
Expected: 69f00f2f
Verification Failed: 'C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\Bin\Staticdata\mapObjects.db', crc:f6af64ac
Expected: ae630150

I am currently trying to download the entire game via offline installer method. If there are any suggestions please let me know.

Halfway through my downloading of the payloads my wireless adapter suddenly stops working for 5 seconds, shows no connection, then reconnects to the net, killing my download of the offline installer package.

Now when I try the launcher by re downloading it, it freezes up and doesn't work.

Fun stuff.





Edit; Rather than freezing, or just the 284mb patch and then "ready to play" I am now seeing the launcher actually download the entire game. All I did was delete the installer, re-download it for the 10th time, and it's actually working from what I can tell. I'm not sure if I'll get the "verification error" when it's done or not. I'll post my results in about 45 min.



Upon a fresh install.. and I mean FRESH.. I completely deleted everything on my drive that is EVE related, downloaded the installer and let it download the entire game.. I still get the verification error.


Im at a loss on how to get this game playing again.

A response to my thread, or to the Verification Error thread would be NICE.

I am having this exact issue with these exact files. Anyone have a workaround?

This post shows the same files affected by checksum mismatches yours does (see his screenshot -- calculated CRCs are wrong, but the desired CRCs are the same for both of you). Try the fix/workaround he mentioned to see if that works for you:

Note: I have not the slightest idea how/why Administrator would make this work (the errors in question don't say they can't open the files, only that the calculated checksums (which would only be possible if the files could be opened and read) don't match what the EVE patcher expects).
