When opening a fit linked in chat, I would like have the option to view it as list (just like now) or directly open them in the ghostfitting... hope that is on the board somewhere.

This sounds like a good ideea. All i care is that we can activate tanking modulea to see the resists from insode station in the fit window, also overheat bonuses and clear drone dmg stats. Anything else is just a bonus

Make the main window as simple as possible. It should be more clear to even newer players.

Hovering or clicking or something could show more info about that area.

Also to track better what is missing, could you add small button on the corner that would open list of all the attributes related to the ship. Inertia could be here (unless it is actually useful to some). This way, if something (like drone control range) would be missing, it could be checked from here, until the UI is fixed.

Also visual bars for cargo and drones (+ drone bandwidth) are superb in PyFa. Could use similar as there is for CPU and PG.

remove the inertia modifier and add align time instead? or just add align time?

Inertia is not just used in Align formula's.

Request: A small-window mode for when the fitting window is opened in space.

I don't need to see a 3d model of my ship when I'm trying to refit off of a mobile depot or carrier -- I have no problem zooming in when I want to look at ship-pornography. What I want is a small, pinnable window just large enough to get the job done without blotting out a quarter or more of the display. Tabs with other information -- expandable or othewise -- are fine; just let us pare down the unnecessary bits.

The fitting window should show the icons for tech 2, faction, deadspace and officer modules.

TimeToWarp = -ln(0.25) × Mass_kg × Agility / 1000000

Gooby pls

Align time is a useful barometer indeed. Inertia modifier should still stay. Cool

That ^^

And also charges. I don't like having to hover to see whether I've got antimatter or void loaded or if my cap stability is based on vanilla or navy cap boosters.

Give the fitting window the ability to be dragged to a second screen outside of the main client :D

Being able to see some drone info in the fitting screen would be cool.

Among other things, can we please have tank displayed in DPS for the highest value? No more messiong around with odd amounts for differing units of time.

Have you thought how you're gonna treat phased armour reppers?

Issue is.. for PVP the LOWEST value is the important one.

Please, please, please hurry up with Ghost fitting ! A feature which is long, long overdue :) One thing that irritates me about eft is the lack of descriptions of the modules.

Also, how about a few ship preset examples fits. Will help the noobs tremendously.

As we can now sell multple different items, which is fantastic btw, how about a button that allows you to buy the multiple items in the fit. Both in ghost fitting and in ship fitting browser.

In short, the idea is to cycle on module click idle / active / overload / offline (might have offline in a separate pattern) ONLY showing stats when the module is ACTIVE in the fitting window. We might put the state to active on fit (in the window) The fitting window module state is completely decoupled from the HUD, activating your autocannons in the fitting window will not blast a hole in the station or the object closest to you.
A test dummy/firing range might do the trick. Something that allows live-fire testing of your ship's offensive and defensive capabilities while docked. Both World of Warcraft and Star Wars The Old Republic had test dummies in safe zones for comparisons of your damage output and mitigation versus multiple (read variable level) enemies.

The complexity of implementing this inside a station may be beyond ccp's capabilities, but this might work as part of the new player environment as a kind of test area/mission space for ensuring safety while learning what your new weapon/defense systems can do against any/all types of factions and ship types. Also, for new capital/carrier/dread/titan/etc pilots this would need to work not just in highsec. Wait never mind, that is what Singularity is for.

Dear lord the number of complaints CCP would receive upon users getting shanked from overpaying for something on the market would be glorious.
Obviously, a setting for preventing purchases above (read as a percent; %) regional average price might mitigate most of those issues. By default, this may need to be set at 10%.

And let us sort modules by high/med/low slot or somehow make item groups searchable. Which would be great for new players or those of us that are not-so-active... "I forgot the name of that module I want to swap out of a mid slot."
