I know this isnt fiction, but there isnt a forum for any other kind of creative writing related to EVE. So i wrote a poem to the EVE community called "The Spreadsheet Brotherhood", i hope you guys like it :)

You boot up EVE to look for trouble
and don't consider for a breath,
how broad, diverse, though not too subtle
is the community beneath.

You dwell in wormholes hard to find,
with ships affected by the sun.
You sit, and into your home you death invite,
because, you state, “it will be fun!”.

In null preside factions so vast,
and cook up much mock hate.
They weave their webs of spies and moles,
and leave nothing to poor Fate.

In low, where nations fight for space
and pirates ply their trade,
you'll lose a ship but gain a friend,
join in on his corsair crusade.

In high, where isk is doubled
and haulers’ dreams are crushed,
where rivers flow of bitter tears
and freighters oft combust.

And industrialists and miners, that
keep the EVE war machine alive,
who are given a hard time by many,
but without whom it cannot thrive.

In this vast range of friend and foe,
you take part everyday.
And though you might not think it so
you’re all brothers in a way.

Your daily efforts keeps alive
the world most unforgiving.
Together you have climbed a cliff,
whose curve is so deceiving.

So when you see some fellow pilots,
“fly safe”, “o7” or /wave.
Together to a brighter future
your struggles here, a road will pave.
