Jackdaw?!? Seriously?

While I prefer the look of the Hecate (and pretty much prefer all Galente ships to Caldari) it doesn't seem like it does any sort of really interesting transformation when it shifts modes. Seems like it just has a few flaps that pop up.

Could be wrong though. Will find out this summer I guess. Overall I think all 4 destroyers are fairly nice looking and I am pleased with the overall direction that the art department has been going (even though I am still not that keen on Caldari ships).

Really?!?!?

Caldari already have:
Crow http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corvus_%28genus%29
Rook http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rook_%28bird%29
Raven http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raven
They're all part of the same family, "Corvus" So it DOES fit perfectly well with their current naming scheme.
Most of their other names are birds as well, Ibis, cormorant, drake, blackbird, condor, i could go on...

I like it, it fits well, keep it!

If all we want is a menacing name, I vote for KILLDOZER or MR. KILL.

Putting it in caps sounds menacing. We should also put a few dozen exclamation marks behind it.

Hmmm, in the theme of things...

Would a squad of Caldari ships be a FLOCK? And a fleet a FLIGHT?

Shrike is already a too historically important pilot name in eve (check the amarr tournament history) , so its surely a non go name.

Implying that I don't listen to sea shanties while playing already.

I like the name, I was wondering when we would get a ship named after your pirate brig in Black Flag. I love that game.
