Oohboy, the name is seriously underwhelming.

Couldn't you have called it the SHRIKE, or TERCEL, or even the Peregrine?

Yeah agreed Jackdaw doesn't sound good at all. It doesn't even go along with all the other caldari ships..

I love your idea of " SHRIKE " That sounds amazing for a new caldari ship.

Jackdaw sounds bad.

Many Caldari ships are named after birds. A jackdaw is a bird. It fits fine.

I would have to agree. The Jackdaw does not sound menacing at all.

" SHRIKE " goes along with following bird names, and sounds like a vicious menacing bird...

I know it's a bird name, it's just a stupid bird name is the point I'm making, and doesn't sound good like the other caldari ships.

At least Shrike would sound menacing, because the ship sure as hell doesn't look it.


In the Honor Harrington book series, the Shrike LAC was a ferocious weapon when deployed en masse, and was basically a small ship designed around a battlecruiser sized graser if im not mistaken.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Big gun with an engine and a crew, sounds Minmatar to me.

IIRC its sister ships were the Ferret and the Grayson Katana, been a while since I've visited the Honorverse.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

And people think the Skynet is OP.. wait until they read what a single LAC carrier could do.. or a single Pod laying SD.... and no one cares that all the ships look like gray painted hammerhead spindles, because if youre close enough to see it, you are within energy weapon range and dead anyways.

I think it was the Molle account that resembled that accusation, actually. Shrike was a Titan main, when Titans were still trained on mains.
