Give me one logical explanation of why this shouldn't happen other than tradition. Tradition in w-space went out the window when CCP made systems with ICE & stations in them.

Get this to stick in your mind please, Thera is not a WH (not a traditional one).
The shattered WHs look like golf courses that cater only to gophers (aka nobody plays there for long).

We're talking about changes to the original WHs, the ones that matter.

How are networked empires going to get built when there's only 2 systems involved?

I advocated for dual statics in C4 long before anyone ever posted about it.

I almost spat my coffee out, that was a good one.

Where do you live now anyway... Pirate

I am Winthorp you might remember me from such films as i got CCP to make signature ID's persistent through DT for their love of AU bros.

Can i bring my drake??

Face it... CCP killed EVE when implemented the cap changes... WTF Capitals now have enought 'mass' to jump with gates and their jump drives went 'downgraded' to be crappy?

I thought there was EVOLUTION and not DEVOLUTION...

That may lead to C4/C5/C6 static connection to kspace, no thanks

I could only agree with wormhole time stabilizers, only in order to (kind of ) reduce fear of people entering whs

Chuck anything regarding stabilizers out the door. Wormholes have two mechanics. Time and Mass. We really should not be able to play with the time of wormholes, but we can play with the mass.

Currently we can crit a hole. There should be a method of regenerating some of its mass (want to get a fleet through, holes crit, regenerate some of its mass and fit a few more). Having the ability to reverse some of the damage to the hole would be interesting, but again, there needs to be downsides to it, else it'll just be abused, or it would promote blob warfare.

(getting a little sick of crit holes and the need to downtime seed a group to kill a bear gang because they verge every hole in their system).

Or you could just do like us and suitcase some t3s in a carrier, tackle 2 caps and orbit the Archon for 3 hours while waiting to scan in help because you realize you don't have enough dps or neuts to break them

Good times were had by all .. well, most

you reeeaaaalllllllyyyy dont get it.....
this just lest you set up a farming hole and a PVP hole, link them with a gate and just farm whenever you want with the full PVP fleet on standby just around the corner!
it also lets you hook up 2 systems for better farming opportunities; ie, 1 runs dry, quick hop to the next one, fire up the dreads again!

yeah, i can def see how this will 'drive content'

Im just one month old account, Im starting to explore wh and I lose ships, Lots of them, even some pod with valuable ( for me ) implants. And I struggle with the ultra hostile nature of wh space, and sometimes I even quit session extremely dissapointed.

And even I think this is a terrible idea. The main attractive of w-space is precisely its wildness and unpredictability. Bring gates to them and it will start decaying to just a more exotic null space.

it will take maybe 6 days (?) until 80% of WH space would be transformed by large Nullsec alliances into 0.0 Sec without local and just with limited jump mass?

Then CCP would just need to add MoonGoo and local maybe? Roll

Still not convinced this would be good at all!

I am firmly against the idea of letting players manipulate wormholes, there is a reason.

Wormholes are a High risk place to live in, we dont't have local, we can't see whats happening in other systems form the map and our connections are always changing. This creates high risk, the other side of it we get high rewards. Wormholes is one of the best places to earn money and the fact that we can work in our system unnoticed.

Allowing control of the wormholes unbalances the risks vs reward and breaks the game play in wormholes.

Do you roll/close? Would you like, if that mechanic will go(mass manipulation)?
