FYI Musterbrand is doing a EVE Online sale.

Either to clear out stock and new **** is coming in, or there's going to be a new retailer.

The Bombardier Jacket and a regular Hoodie kept me warm in the coldest winter Canada has had in a longass time!

This **** we sell in russia for one bottle of wodka. It may keep you warm in autum, but not in winter Smile

EDIT: I actually ordered some t-shirts and a sweater. Really curious about the "high quality".

cool notice. I will say I got the guristas hoodie at fanfest last year and it is awesome, however it seems to be soldout on the website, so sorry bros. Still a bit tempted to buy a thing or two however :p

and as an American I'd say order a size or two large. Said hoody I got at fanfest I got in xxl, where normally I wear a large. (xxl was the only one instock when I bought, XL probably would have fit better, but XXL wasn't too off, for all I know a large would have been best, but they didn't have one)

I wonder if there is going to be a new retailer, myself.

good question, I'd ask the dudes at fanfest to see whats going on with the store. Ah well just plonked out some $$$ at Musterbrand. got some cool swag I didn't have the cash for at fanfest last year. the zero zero collection is/was pretty cool Cool

American sizes are one step off compared to (continental) European sizes.
So American M is like European L. (British L is actually somewhere between American M and continental L)

that sounds right, everything i ordered today was in XL. like I said I got the Hoodie at fanfest '14 in XXL, but that is a wee bit big, but not big enough it looks/feels weird. where in US sizes I pretty much always wear a medium-Large.

The season is changing. A lot of the items carried by Musterbrand are heavy cold weather clothing, and with Spring a week away, to sell them at regular prices would mean holding on to the inventory until Fall. As it is in the EVE market, inventory that doesn't move is inventory that doesn't make you money. I suspect the sale price reflects the production cost or close to it. Selling inventory at a no-harm-no-foul price means that money is freed up to acquire different inventory and try again. If you bought too many hulls on market and had the option of reversing the charges, wouldn't you take it?

Things like bomber jackets are timeless, so I don't think a redesign is a major reason for this sale.

I posted this on Reddit aswell as here.

I was told that CCP is planning on doing their own thing again. So musterbrand is just dumping everything they have, and since those are their own designs, I highly doubt it that those specific designs will be available....permitting that's true, can we get a sober anyone at CCP to confirm and/or deny?

The Musterbrand range was pretty dreadful to be honest - I've never been tempted by any of it. Velcro patches? Seriously?
Here's hoping we get a better range of items (not just clothes) and sensible prices in future.

I already own most of the stuff on sale and ended up ordering the loadmaster. The only issue I have had with Musterbrand is that some of the rubbery letters from the Concord patch have fallen off.

I love the Bombardier and had a custom tag with my last name to slap on the horizontal patch spot. The bombardier also has zippered inner pockets on both sides and the zippered shoulder pocket is large enough to house the faction patches which are easily swapable.

The hoodies are in my opinion the best , They have huge inner pockets that are large enough to carry a large hardcover novel. These do not however come with a velcro place holder unlike the EVE logo one that is included with the bombardier so you might want to get a patch with the hoodie. Fortunately the Minmitar and Caldari logos clearly identify these as EVE products even with a non-Eve patch unlike the bombardier which is only identified by the removable patch and the inner lining.

The T-shirts are a bit oddly cut and feel like they bunch up near the shoulders. As stated above the sizes are very large. These Musterbrand smalls from Germany are almost the same size as Cospa larges from Japan. Also the medium Caldari hoodie I have is a little longer than the medium bombardier, and I prefer to have my jackets longer than what I wear under them. Fortunately all my other Musterbrand stuff is small.

I've always wanted the long sleeve quafe shirt, but I absolutely hated the idea of paying as much in shipping as the damn thing itself; told myself if I ever got to Fanfest (next year I hope) I'd go nuts on whatever they had available there =P

Really hope they go with a new retailer - bit pricey at the moment.

Look forward to promoting Caldari supremacy all around London in the future.
