A nice gesture, yes.

I'm going be a bit of a **** here, though. Both teams knew what they were playing for. All...or nothing.

I feel it would be disingenuous of CCP to suddenly decide that a nice consolation prize is in order. It sets a bad precedent for future tournaments. They need to hold fast and stay impartial in this.

If you wanted to donate directly without CCP facilitation, that would be nice. But you can't. So leave it at 'it's the thought that counts' and send them happy thoughts or something.

on one hand I agree, on the other hand they are total vanity ships and in the end I really don't care at all (I suppose that is easy to say that after we won them, I will admit to cheering out loud at home at one point).

the best outcome imo was a 2-2 tie and a bomb killing everyone forcing a draw in play, just to see what CCP would do then.

According to CCP, the reward ship will NEVER, EVER exist on the server that loses the tournament, so god luck with that.


What CCP Means is that the Victorieux Luxury Yacht might never be on the server that looses, but the Victoriux Luxury Yacht might. Maybe in a few years when people have forgotten, maybe as some part of a "secret" reward program for people doing nice things to others.. who knows

The ships should stay where they were promised to be, on the real Eve server. :)

However, there should be some reward for those hull tanked fleet phoons - maybe a permanent discount on fleet phoons or paintjob or a gazillion Minmatar LP, or immortilization somehow.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

After seeing some posts here I can see why a few folks are not into the idea. Yes the ships would be worth a lot on the serenity sever. But that don't matter. It's not as if the camel team is short of ISK (Trust me they are not). Camel is not going to be out of pocket here.

But I am not wishing to give my ships as a prize for losing., I want the give me ships because they had the BALLS to hull tank. And I really REALLY love hull tanking. Just go look at my lost mails.

So please CCP. Make it happen.

CCP please let there be some memorial to the incredible ingenuity of this team, they may have lost the tournament, but they certainly won our hearts with their courage.

Is there any way to give the serenity players, a ship commemorating this incredible occassion?

It deserves immortality.

Maybe a version of the yacht with an absolutely insane structure tank?

I agree with this Quote CCP.

The people who lost on the serenity server should get something worthwhile as well to make them come back next year to be bigger and better to beat the TQ server.

They did have balls bring in the phoon and for that the losing players should get some sort of prize to make them happy to keep them coming back for more battles in the future.

Also well done to the winning team on TQ you made everyone proud who plays EvE on the TQ server. Big smileP
