Take the warp speed of a capital, and the fact that most stars are more than 1 light year apart, and figure out why this idea is bad.

When that 1 pilot in your lol-capital-roam makes the mistake of warping to a distant star.

Recruitment Officer: What type of a pilot are you? Me: I've been described as a Ray Charles with Parkinsons and a drinking problem.

really good and fresh idea, but it needs more interesting gameplay in warping time instead of watching it only for loooong time

Admit it; you just want to get into Jove space

Someone, before I started playing eve actually did get to jove space by just aligning to the general direction. It was back when I guess you could fit 2 mwds and have them both active and running. And once he got where jove space would be he just relogged and ended up in jove space. Took a few days I think and back then when a ship was left in space it didn't emergency warp very far from where you were.

Impossible to do now of course.

This is kind of relevant:

Really? A bad idea? I already did the calculation, sir.
Capitals travel at 3 AU/s.
5 light years is 316,198 AU

Jenshae Chiroptera, you would only have a few systems accessible via this method. it would be on the outskirts of null sec, and there would be plenty of fighting over the systems. Add a new constellation to every region on the outskirts of nullsec. DUH

29 hours in warp for every 5 light years using your numbers.5.8 hours if every one of these new systems is a max of 1 light year away and thats ignoring any issues that might occur from disconnects. No thanks.
