CCp isn't spending our money on anything, they are spending their money on stuff. "Our" money are things like taxes (things we have to pay if we don't want to go to jail), after you give ccp money, they do what they like and your choice is whether to give them more money or not.

I have no problem with CCP spending money on VR since being a successful company will benefit EVE.

They could have made it more entertaining by bringing a player up to wear a headset while the developer talked -- then the wow factor might have been conveyed in a funny way for the audience.

(update-the opening was a bit dull, but the rest of the day made up for it -- especially the energy of the keynote)

Nor will it revolutionize anything or be something that everyone has or wants. Put it in the dust bin with all the rest of failed VR, 3d tv and the power glove.

Valkryie (so long as it dependant on VR) is just WiS disaster x 1 million.

I didn't even watch the "speech" but just the fact that they are putting that much faith/interest in oculus still is so sad and disappointing.

I wish they'd spend more money on EvE and less money on......I dunno how to say what I want to say without it getting deleted.

I'l leave it at this, why is CCP finding it so hard to learn from their mistakes? Maybe Hilmar is the entire problem.
