The IGS' golden age has passed.

But even during its golden age, there were those who claimed that its golden age had passed.

Golden age, eh?

You mean, the time when only Amarr contributors to the IGS posted anything that was interesting ?

The only thing that needs closing is this thread.

It's not censorship, its a petition. Like many others people have placed here as well, some considered useless, some not.
Replies such as yours only prove this one in particular being relevant.

Vechtor, You owe me brain cells.

But since this petition exists I feel like it is probably time for use to burn this to the ground and start again.

Yes, a petition to end discussion you don't like. Also known as censorship.

Have Amarrians ever been interested in anything non-Amarrians have to say?

So... it's a petition to enact censorship against people that enjoy doing something (RP) . Gotcha. Boy, you sure cleared THAT up.

Depends, is the non-Amarrian agreeing with the Amarrian?

No, but at least it means we don't derail all the non-Amarr threads with Amarrian discussions.

... wait. We're doing that right now, aren't we? Dang.

In the interests of equal opportunities. You and the Minnies get so many otherwise productive Slavery/Anti-Slavery threads railroaded into pointless "Caldari Prime" threads by us and the Feddies. Just not far.

pretty new to rp and getting into it more now, what is the issue with this forum section? why would you want to close it, if you aint interested in why even bother looking at it? instead put a topic up to close it, why because its not part of your agenda, pointless troll and this thread should be locked

I feel like most people aren't finding the humor with the OP hence people getting upset. I don't think anyone really wants to shut down the IGS, I feel it's more a smart-ass statement about the current state of discussions on the IGS.

To be fair, the IGS has always been a tacky dance party that plays mostly broken records. It does have its moments, however, and certainly can serve a positive purpose if people use the tools provided in such a way...

There never was a Golden Age for any of this war mongering. However if it victory you relish the bar is a better battlefield to break comms in.
