Curiosity is probably going to get the better of me here, but ... care to show where it has been used well?
I'm not really seeing it, but I'll admit I could be looking in the wrong direction.

Well ... I'm sort of working on a couple of projects, here. I can't ... personally speak to whether this is using them "well," exactly, but the work's been well received so far.

Shutting the IGS down would ... really make trouble for me. I kind of depend on a critical audience to ... help me correct errors and find my way.

Of course, my feeling on this may be personal sentiment. I didn't have much other company for the first few days.

A lot of people helped me. They didn't have to.

Soujourn certainly seems interesting enough, and your video log was good for an initial chuckle at least. Not that I knew you, but a belated welcome back just the same.

After a quick search I did find some of your older works that look very promising. I just had time for a quick glance, but I do like the potential for both the Children of Naught and Small Truths series. I think my sister would be interested in the Children of Naught, and I do plan on reading more of both as time permits.

I don't think you really need the IGS Ms. Jemmeth, it seems to me that you have a good idea of your way regardless of current circumstances, but if you feel it helps then who am I to argue. At least your musings will will give me something to look forward to reading in the morning over a cup of tea.

Thank you, pilot.

Er ... respectfully, it might be good to approach the "Children of Naught" writings carefully. They're written from a perspective I don't ... possess, anymore, and am sort of trying to avoid slipping back into.

Of those, I'd be sure to read "End State" first. You can think of it as a warning label, written by the original author.

The whole series is sort of meant to aid the lost, but, really, whether they help you or not, you're still lost, just the same.

I'm coming to understand I'm in a pretty bad place to judge those writings. I can't remember being that person. But I do know that I keep seeing ... unintended consequences. One of my old students is hunting me, now. That's only the most obvious example.

As for "Small Truths," I never finished those writings. It's a pity.

That's a lot of the inspiration for "Sojourn."

I figured the perspective was a bit different given what I understand of your current situation, but on their own merit they are interesting reads of a particular point of view.

could not agree more

Holiness is in right action and courage on behalf of those who cannot defend themselves, and goodness. What God desires is in your heart and on your mind... And what you decide to do every day, makes you - not your race - a good man - or not.

Always be dubious of anyone who seeks to stifle multi-partisan discussion.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.
