No option to log in on launcher

My launcher currently shows no fields for entering user name / password and no login/play button. The "latest news" and update bar are there. The 'buy PLEX' variable content thing was briefly there, but is now gone as well.

It did update without repairing today, so that's one day in the right direction. Good thing I know how to use the .exe file to start the game...
