In the Operation: Gris Incroyabul series, cinematic throb Etienne de la Crux portrays interstellar man of mystery and Obsidian Eagle Charles Stocques. The Obsidian Eagles are the Federation's licensed to kill champions of liberty and justice, sharp blades held firm against perpetual darkness!

Known for a daring socio-political commentary, O:GI confronts corruption within and portrays virtue without the otherwise shining model of civilization that is... the Gallente Federation.

In O: GI "Lost Covenant," menacing Ni-Kunni master-of-stage Sigmund Agrippa introduces the complex villain Malthus Kador, nobleman and scientist who plugs one plug too many and starts hearing voices of dead civilizations. In the opening of "Lost Covenant," an Amarrian convey returning from Federation space with a sacred artifact being exchanged as a gesture of peace and goodwill is brutally attacked by a heretofore unknown splinter amalgamation of Amarrian death cults led by Malthus. De la Cruz works with members of Her Majesty's Secret Service to recover the artifact. Unable to act directly against a nobleman before it is conclusively established he is a traitor, the Amarrians are able to come to the rescue in the final climactic moments when Stocques battles Malthus in his base constructed inside a great big asteroid that looks something like a tooth.

Box office and critical smash hit! Perpetual series guaranteed!

O:GI II "Red Manors" is a political thriller concerned with Blood Raider attempts to overthrow the government and install a cabal of manipulative blood sucking vampire overlords.

In O:GI III "The God Hole," Malthus returns! The opening shows a raid on the star gate in Doril. After slaughtering everyone in the control center, Malthus enters a code the voices in his head give him. His fleet jumps through the gate - but doesn't come out in Sendaya! Convinced that can't be good, the Federation sends Charles Stocques. In a Minmatar prison, we meet Solo Octane, a male to female Brutor transgender woman tormented by demons of betrayal, hatred, and revenge. Solo is recruited into the Valklear program as an undercover death machine against the Cartel. De la Crux picks her as his indigenous partner, and its off to Sendaya. There, a team of Caldari wizards finds an alternative end point for both the Sendaya and Doril gates. Spooky! Somewhere inside Divinity's Edge, an ancient civilization has constructed a research facility orbiting a black hole of approximately twenty solar masses. The event horizon is used to imprison information - information Malthus Kador wants to free so he can usher in an age of perpetual darkness! After multiple fake climaxes above the God Hole, complete with infall and tidal deformations, Solo Octane - Cartel double double agent - falls hopelessly in love with de la Crux and betrays the bad guys instead. The ancient facility is destroyed and Malthus is last seen on the bridge of his disintegrating battleship while ripples of space flicker all around him.

O:GI IV-VI is known as the "Patriot Sins Trilogy" - a cathartic review of atrocities committed by both sides of the State/Federation conflict. In the Patriot Sins Trilogy, Etienne comes face to face with the evil that lurks within an overwhelming desire to do good. He must leverage the kindness of foreigners, such as Solo Octane and members of Her Majesty's Secret Service, to unravel the complex web of deception that threatens to choke the very esprit of democracy and liberty which beats at the core of the Gallente soul!

O:GI VII takes an emotional breather with a conflagration of good versus evil. (Some) of the Blood Raiders thwarted in O:GI II return to infiltrate the Sisters of EVE and open a worm hole to the EVE Gate, where they mean to sacrifice helpless victims to their dark god in an attempt to summon an era of perpetual darkness! Teamed with Thumper, a blonde Gurista bombshell, de la Crux dispatches evil doers with cinematic aplomb. Solo Octane and her rival enjoy several enjoyably tense moments vying for Etienne's love, but in the end, everyone agrees there is no reason to limit intimacy to the oppressiveness of traditional numbers.

In O:GI VIII "Falling Sky," Malthus returns again! Now the One Wing Angel, Goldenwing, he builds a floating pleasure palace from artificial sapphire in the clouds of a blue gas giant. Corrupt politicians visit the palace and partake of its pleasures. But the voices in Malthus' head have led him to a Yan Jungian Assassin Clan village on one of the gas giant's icy moons. Using iconic mind implants, the Yan Jungians take over the corrupt politicians and use their leverage to connect to the Federation entertainment backbone. Before they take over everyone's mind, de la Crux brings down Skycloud Palace. With no regard for personal safety, he remains in the collapsing one hundred and fifty kilometer tower hacking the core to ensure the transmission fails. Solo Octane pilots an atmospheric vehicle down through the falling rubble, scoops him up, and flies off into the clouds. Solo's descent through the falling Skycloud Palace is considered one of the finest ten minutes of Gallente action cinema ever recorded, ever. A sensory orgasm, it was so good, I forgot to have sex with my date and her date alternative and his date third removed until we left the theater.

The film further cemented Octane as the secular saint of oddballs and misfits throughout the Federation. Dazzling in her award acceptance speeches, she reminds one and all of the grandeur and diversity of our shared spirit. Even as sapphire towers fall from blue skies and the cause appears lost, so long as we face it all together, we may rise through the rubble and spread our wings, gleaming silver white against baby blue!

Even when an ancient menace from beyond the darkest stars threatens to swallow Mankind whole!

Questions over whether Eram's star is a target for some plot to exterminate the Matar aside, what function does Site One currently fulfill that makes the original post's suggestion to destroy it so outrageous?

It is an Inspirational Repository of Information, where Many Scientific Documents may be obtained and Read by visitors.

Destroying such a Beacon of Knowledge, reduces the ability of Capsuleers to be Seen as Things other than Destroyers.

The Many Scientific Documents are stored merely as abstracts at Site One. They are found in their Full And Glorious Form in digital storage online from where all can Bask In The Light Of Their Knowledge. The destruction of Site One, as such, does nothing to limit access to said Knowledge and all the Basking that might be achieved with it.

In the end I don't really care if someone dismantles it or not. What I'm concerned about is the reasoning behind why it's a good idea to do so. If we're going to start doing things just because someone has a "hunch" or tied together enough "what-ifs" to make a scary story, then why don't we 'dismantle' anything else like, say, capsuleers?

I have this hunch that the clerk at my local drugstore is plotting to trip me when I walk out the door, can we dismantle him?

That said, it's all frankly a little bit ridiculous. As noted earlier, there are 709 K-class, main sequence stars in New Eden. I know you all think Site One is of utmost importance, but-- come now. Is Tukoss and Site One of any importance compared to, say, the Jove Directorate or what may have been a Sansha invasion of Sleeper space?

So all K-class stars are 'vulnerable' to this Drifter-Sleeper Isogen-5 Superweapon, eh ?

So, all systems with a K-class star should be evacuated, just in case, eh?

That would include Pator, wouldn't it ? Says that's a K3V star. And J120442, which is a K0V star, right ?

So they should all be evacuated, just in case that a Drifter-Sleeper Isogen-5 Star Destroying Super Weapon is constructed, right?

Right ?

There has been one such weapon found, restored, and used without proper comprehension by Jamyl Sarum and her followers.

Did someone, somewhere, with omniscience, say: "There can be only one." ?

Should we be searching to ensure there only was one remaining and that the one has, indeed, been destroyed?

And ... should we also ensure Jamyl Sarum's followers aren't successful in trying to create another?

You most certainly can. As a capsuleer, you can even avoid the consequences a baseliner might have to factor into their decision.

For capsuleers the question with both your hypothetical and Saede's is just as much 'why not' as it is 'why'. Rather than being used as a soapbox for voicing idle threats towards those who would do one or the other it's my opinion that this discussion might be better served by considering that question.

What is Site One's real purpose? Is it just some vacuous memorial to a failed experiment? If so, what's its relevance beyond nostalgia and is that enough to warrant keeping it around?

And, it might be added, I ask these questions as someone who in some small way contributed to its construction.

Terrifying as the trademark implications of reality imitating Gallente cinematic masterpieces may be, Synthia the Princeps raises an important existential conundrum.

The monumental scope of this xenogeno beacon un peu grandiosely named Site One testifies to the underutilized capacity for all mankind to create. Even if the Sebiestor (and perhaps Brutor) of Eram have been turned into Isomorpholic Replicants, they are individuals deserving of consideration and respect. Certainment, Charles Stocques would not preemptively obliterate an entire people simply on the chance they might carry Yan Jungian Analyst Ninja Assassin Clan iconic mind control pathogens. Doing so would not be heroic.

Mrs Riordan, I share your concerns about Eram and have for some time now. It is the star type, Site One's location near the star and the enigmatic gate pointing even further towards the Star that got our attention.

Site one may be near the Star, not nowhere near enough however relating to every single Epicenter site observed in shattered systems.

Which leaves us with the gate. Could this gate actually lead to a location 900-800k Km from the Star? If so, then me and you are not as deluded as many people here seem to believe.

There has been extensive recon by myself and a few colleagues between SiteOne and Eram's star, with no results, thankfully.
Given the lack of any concrete evidence yet, I would suggest to not raise the alarms and cause widespread panic on the planets. The results would be comparable to the actual disaster itself, IF it was to happen.

As mr Victorian suggested, it might be best at this point to keep a keen eye on SiteOne and that ominous gate in particular.

I have no idea whether Site One poses a threat to Eram so I don't feel that any immediate action be taken against it. However, it would be prudent to keep the area under observation in light of recent events involving the installation's alleged infiltration and the appearance of the Sleepers/Drifters.

P.S. Those who know me know that I'm no cheerleader for Anslo but, gods and spirits Kim-baka...you calling him a loudmouth clown? My irony meter just went off the scale.

Meh. When a man who has no access to Concord clonebanks and no demonstrable ability to target third-party softclone installations threatens to destroy "your every clone in existence" I find it hard to do little more than smirk.

You're a capsuleer, sir. You'll destroy assets and current clones. You'll cost her money and reputation. Nothing more.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Well I am falttered. Much appreciated.

it is a honor for me to be flattered by you, Caldari Navy's finest.

But truth to be told, Anslo too actually is a man of his word. Some circumstances may put him into a different suit, yet I witnessed he fullfilled a lot of his words.

Thanks though Diana, much appreciated. Rather unaexpected too.

oh, i did not realize Site One has such valiant guardians!

Civilian ships get destroyed every day by capsuleers, just for fun. They are not defended by Concord and seem unable to defend themselves as well.

With that in mind, i urge you to rethink your boisterous threats about touching and missing stardusts against the possibility of Site one actually posing a threat to the Sebiestor homeworlds and population.

If you are even half serious in defending the Site, start by doing something about pilots who "touch" the site and turn civilians into "stardust" every single day.

If, at any given time, evidence proving the threat theory occurs, the site must be dismantled. The survival of billions of people, Sebiestor heritage and the prevention of a whole system's shattering in general will shadow whatever misplaced sense of duty you feel over protecting Site One. No true Sebiestor would back down on this, no matter how boisterously worded your threats are.

"We marched for days and nights, under sun, in the rain. Our minds and bodies ached for rest, but in our hearts there was nothing but the fight."
