Something that really annoys me

I've seen this many times, from system to system: corps leaving out mobile depots or empty freight containers labelled with a recruitment message. I've seen as many as a dozen or more just littered around stargates or stations. It's ridiculous! If you want to recruit, why not hang around the beginner systems (eg. Trossere) and ask the noobs if they'd like to join your corp? Let's be honest here, the EVE universe is not made of veteran players. How many players answer your ads, anyway?

I'm sick of seeing empty containers with advertising labels. I can't even get rid of the damn things without alerting CONCORD. I suppose CCP isn't really going to ban this sort of thing, but it would sure make me forget this week's ship losses if they did. Two words, people: VISUAL POLLUTION.

When CCP demonstrated some blinged up station signs last year, there was a lot of hope that sign-boards on the undock might be able to replace anchored containers and mobile depots for this sort of thing.

Guess we'll have to wait and see if that materializes.

Till then, space litter.

You could of course wardec the corp, just so you can get rid of their advertising depots.

Or is that a bit extreme?

I guess it all depends on how pissed off you are.

It used to be a bannable offense to spam containers... Now apparently you can do it... heck it's even encourage to catch cloakies at gate camps... Lol

Those damned post-it notes with the alternating sticky edges! Those things annoy the crap out of me. Its like an OCD guys worst nightmare. The problem is THEY LOOK JUST LIKE THE NORMAL POST-IT PADS! **** the box of chocolates Forest, when it comes to office supplies you never know what youre going to get! You write a note on the first page, and its right side up, then you right a note on the second page.. AND ITS UPSIDE DOWN!!!!!! Who the hell thought up these things!??!!?!!? What was wrong with original post-its? Do you know what happens to an upside down post-it when you put it on a wall? Within an hour it falls off! Its curls over slowly and PEELS ITSELF OFF THE DAMN WALL. Its to the point now that when I write on one, and its one of the upside down ones, I throw it away and start over on a new one. I know that I can just turn the pad around and itll be right side up.. but I do what like 80% of officefolk do.. and peel off the back page and stick it to my desk next to the phone so it doesn't move around while im writing. That adhesive isn't very good, and if I were to unstick it and turn it around, then after like 3 times the adhesive would stop sticking and id have to throw the bottom page away. Ok.. I know that if I did that, Id be wasting less paper.. but math isn't my strong suit and I reject your idea because that my prerogative.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

"Annoy" is a word used by kids. No action is worth taking because something annoys you.
Oh, yeah, get out of hisec.

There was an effort to get rid of abandoned space junk. The ability to abandon wrecks was created just for that.
The idea wasn't to rid of us eye sores. It was to combat lag.

I find it annoying and stupid. I know the jaded among us have to poo poo this to make themselves look cool, but
you're either for lag or against it. And, don't say it has nothing to do with lag. CCP seems to think it does.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.
