Dev blog: Worlds Collide - Introducing the Teams

The teams are revealed, the setups are up, the fuse is lit! Worlds Collide is shaping up to be a showdown for the ages and now you can get to know the participants a little bit more.

If you won't be in the Harpa in person I encourage you to tune in for Worlds Collide on the 20th of March on the CCP twitch.tv channel, and the whole of Fanfest for that matter! Pick a team and cheer for it as there has never been a better time to start.

Somehow watching people on the internet talk about events that ar completely unreal and imaginary (I wasn't there) feels weird while watching people, three paragraphs further down, on the internet talk about events that were real (I wasn't there but I COULD'VE) seems totally legit.

I don't have a clue who any of those people are... However, if it represents the best of the best of each server...Tranquility will win without a doubt.

I mean... They are asian.

One from Serenity mentions how they took sov, one from tranquility mentions how he's too irrelevent to take sov. Being all excited about this or that and mentioning alliance tourny ships. I think honor might be a bigger thing over on serenity, whilst over here it's more cheap them out and/or blob.

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

Looking at the real world, guys with camels aren't doing so well. On the other hand, Chinese hackers doing fabulous.

I say it doesn't look good for the Camels space jocks.

no point logging into game then as servers will be overloaded with priority given this stream.

remember the rules anyone jumps and its 15 mins on the bench with fatigue

Que? I'm not sure you understand how internets work, or Eve servers work, or whatever it is you're talking about here.


My opinion on who will win:

Sov taking/holding ability has next to nothing to do with small gang warfare and tournament piloting ability. Camel's got this one!

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

I've always wondered how smack-talk gets censored in Chinese eve. Could this be the first tournament that is won by shouting slogans in local?
