Argh! Every time I enter EVE this disgusting senseless design detail harms my soul

Why? Whyyyy? Why designer put senseless dimension lines instead of leaving as it is - just a ship on a clear nice grid board?

I love EVE because it's a little bit smarter and considered than other games.
It is very irresponsibly to make such design mistakes on the welcome screen, which is seen by every human being.

EVE sky never falls. ;)

Destiny always seems decades away, but suddenly it's not decades away; it's right now. But maybe destiny is always right now, right here, right this very instant, maybe.

Funny, I didn't even notice it until I read this topic. I'm not a human being though, so I guess that's fair.

In blueprint dimension lines are for understanding of sizes of the object. From dim. lines on the character selection screen you understand nothing. You just see your ship fitted in the small window, so you see every ship size equally. This additional dim. line stands like a decoration without any sense, just because "looks cool, like in a real blueprints"

The dimensions are there, you just have to put your face really close to the screen and stare at it for a while. Give it a try.
