A little help on a fit would be much appreciated

hello all,
I was thinking lately to try some smartbombing in lowsec, and as i already have an apocalypse handy, i cooked this fit :

ps: pls keep in mind im not a good eft warrior, thats why im asking for advice here XD

Should i start with something smaller than a bs?
Should i keep the "Target Spectrum Breaker" or replace it with an ecm burst?
Whats the difference between the two modules anyway?

that fit doesnt work even with all five, im far from it, i ll need maybe 10 days to sit in that with 99% pwg cpu and ill have to buy a pwg implant anyway even with all V

Yeah, it's not easy to fit but it's more effective and more importantly far more replaceable than your fit.

Look up Santo Trafficante and Posax on the killboards. At one point Posax was racking up 500+ kills a week. This fit has been proven many times over.

I'd drop tank for last 2 stabs and a mwd. If you have a scout on the other side of the gate, your only real enemy is blops gangs, which your tank will be shredded by anyway. You want maximum warp strength to o7 away from their initial tackle.

The maller is just for pods yeah? the apoc is for t1 frig and pods but is 10 times the price of the maller

Mallers can also kill untanked T1 frigates as well as shuttles.

Just beware of HICs if you are going to try to warp stab your way out of things in a BS. Even a dual scram Ares could easily hold you in place while DPS is brought in if you drop two of those stabs.

Pings will go out for a BS and a blob may quickly form depending on where you are while they will most likely will not go out for a Cruiser...

wont a scram be in range of my sb? i thought the only risks are blobs or points on me? and yes i ll have a cloaky scoot on the other side

Nope. We once held tackle on an SB'ing hyperion in tama once with scrams after getting hit by the initial pulse at the end of fleet warp. Don't light smart bombs on AF fleets next time especially if you're hitting their native resists.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

Not if it is boosted and/or range blinged and/or overheated. If it is not any of these things, maybe as it is right on the edge.
It would also only take two intys (or any pair of ships) fit with dual disruptors and then they will be well out of your range.
HICs would be the most likely though, there is no getting away from them if they get their point on you unless you are able to deaggress and survive for 60 seconds so you can jump through the gate.

Main point is the BS will quickly attract attention and people will go to considerable effort to kill it.

Concurring with Mr. Loyd that battleships in losec draw much more attention to themselves than cruisers do. In addition, cruisers are less expensive and more mobile than battleships, both of which are key factors for your mission at hand.

while waiting for some skills to train ( the santo maller is a tight fit) meanwhile can i have your thoughts about the apoc fit i linked specially about the target spectrum use

Can also fit a cloak to the Maller and sit at the Sun waiting for pods to warp in from a fight. Uncloak / bomb.

You could also always do a Santos fit proteus if you are thinking of doing a battleship. Fly around while cloaked smartbombing unsuspecting plebians.
