So here I am, taking the juice out of the 60 dollah I spent on E:D , and wondering at how good (for a beta) the game is. It has its flaws but its fun just going aimlessly around, exploring, doing the basic stuff, knowing it has all the potential for good stuff coming in the future...

Then I found out about E:D Voice Attack Astra ...

Just speechless ... so much potential, even if its a third party app, just wow, a new level of goodness for the game.

Besides astra and attack voice ( voice command add on third party app) everything is real. I have a crap gtx250 from like 2009 and e:d runs better than eve except when jumping systems animation.

And attack astra is real once you configure it so yep, eve really has some serious competition ahead. If the devs keep developing the game, even Star Citizen has a lot of competition ahead too.

Awesome, but I have everything I need at my fingertips with a HOTAS for Elite.

Might be useful for DCS though as there is a ton of key commands for various things.

Just to wet your appetite, check how AWESOME Capital Ships in Elite are ShockedShockedShocked

Im still new, you might have seen them already but wow ...

I also love the whole Witchspace/Thargoid lore on the game, good stuff!
