What's the problem? That nebula cloud effect has nice shades of blue and black and blends in nicely with the background star field. It's subtle and adds a layer of brooding and ominousity to the structure.

Yeah, these things have been complained about for years. But after seeing the years it takes of complaints and no action, it appears that there is/are one/some really petulant and powerful art dev(s) that cannot take criticism of his/her/their mistakes. He/they stubbornly refuse to tone down lights or go back to a loading screen or whatever in order to spare their customers retina burns and dry or wet heaves, or any unpleasant rl physical sensation in response to something they put on the screen. What?

CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, [u]please[/u] give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.
