If you look at the devblogs going back several pages, you'll see Fozzie is far from the person directing things. There are a range of devs working on specific projects and the only person that covers them all in her blogs is Seagull.

seagull didn't write those lol she just put her name to it.

As opposed to the dev blog about sov changes which was 100% written by Fozzie?

I don't see any issue with CCP Seagull at the moment. To be honest I think you are looking at the current development cycle and thinking "Jeeze nothing gets done, where are all the massive features" - Failing to realize that we would of not have had any of these releases except maybe one.

The current development system will have a lot of MASSIVE and Lackluster / Small changes. Meaning that patch to patch we will have consistent content but no "Major feature being sold". Any mistakes made now will get corrected soon, as the development cycle allows for that.

We could also be playing World of Warcraft, I heard they had a new "Selfie Feature".

what are you talking about? she gave the keynote at eve vegas, had a AMA on reddit, was on the 07 show, has done multiple, led a q and a session at eve vegas, interviews all over..

I would rather her do her job of leading and guiding the ship then having to micromanage everyone

That too, but it's a secondary question.

Personally I think that CCP Seagull communicates enough through events and the "coming with..." devblogs. I'm not exaclty fond of the direction she's takign the game, but that would be another question... And in many ways I think that she's doing what most people would do in her position; it's wrong to do, but the reasons are right, and they predate her appointment as EP.

CCP Unifex was the right person to kick the ball forward and take EVE out of the post-Incarna pit.

CCP Seagull is the right person to keep developing the game in the direction dictated by the existing customer base.

It's not her fault that EVE has come to a stop in terms of new customers and preaching to the choir has become the only sensible -albeit deadly- way to develop it.
