REALLY!!!!

So BS level tank is, "no significant benefit in compensation"?

Why not think that through a bit and get back to us with less ridiculous base assumptions.
Firstly, the inescapable fact is the 'dual' version of a 250mm railgun, has all in all worse performance than the single version - that's what I mean by no significant benefit i.e. of the weapon system.

Secondly, to answer your question:

These days? In the current meta? no I don't believe it is, otherwise we would see more Battleship counter doctrines to the T3/HAC's.

Also please look at the usage of the 'bottom tier' long range weapons - it is incredibly limited, they are in a very poor state. Now compare that to the success of Rapid Heavy/Rapid Light missile launchers....

....I think you would see why I strongly believe there should be a turret based equivalent Smile

OP updated with minor tweaks; after the medium railgun changes, you need to increase the RoF of the dual version to 130% (from 120), to stay in the same 'sweat spot'.

As mentioned though, this is an example starting point for iteration. Have a play with the spreadsheet changing parameters up/down.
