Hunted him? Have you? You've never killed him. You're apparently awfully casual in your hunts. The only person in Gradient who has actually killed him was Avlynka Surionen. Once. And bounty? Do you honestly, honestly, think that a bounty counts for anything? Are you that ******* daft? Do you think that topping off his bounty does ANYTHING AT ALL to stop him from doing what he does? Do you think he even cares about it?

You really need to calm down before you burst a blood vessel.

Not that I need to justify myself to the likes of you but, yes Kernher, I've hunted Nauplius on several occasions. I don't have killboard stats to show for my efforts (yet) but it will happen.

As for bounties my hope is that monetary considerations will motivate capsuleers who don't frequent the IGS or know of his atrocities to pursue him. It's totally reactive, much like CONCORD's response to lawbreakers in high sec space and has no deterrent effect on his machinations. I fully understand that but, many times even small gestures can make a difference.

I'm also quite aware that the madman is an immortal and that the best we can hope for is to inconvenience him. Bravo for you that you've shot him down. You've cost him some isk and that gives you the moral authority to froth at the mouth and namecall. Bravo, indeed.

Oh and by the way, Gradient is once again back in the TLF. I'll see you in space.

I give this run five weeks.

Also I would like to say that the Amarr, spearheaded by PIE but other groups have contributed as well, have been at the forefront constantly to tear down everything Nauplius has ever built. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. To us or themselves.

Sort of got that.

Sort of. Only he's talking about ... um. Hm.

Somehow it hadn't occurred to me that the Blood Raiders would call their God "Holy and Righteous."

Yes, well, you see, the thing is, that there are members of the Covenant, who say that Nauplius goes too far.

Why don't y'all think about that ?

Because to not try is to condone.

Next time there's any operation against Nauplius I'd like an invite to help from any involved parties. I'll be watching his next movements

Judging from the content of this thread, I'd say Nauppie still knows how to win on the IGS political front.

Is it the act of sacrifice, the number sacrificed, or the manner of death that goes too far?

Ey, now... I seem to recall a lot of Amarr smugging over the years whenever we Feds talk about Freedom or Liberty anywhere outside our own borders. Now we should be getting off the sidelines and launching humanitarian interventions in Amarr territory?

I think you might rather we didn't.

Surely a capsuleer with such vast power and auspices can grant welcome assistance to those that need it, regardless of faith or nation?

Look at this mess. All of this bickering is exactly what people like Nauplius feed off of.
Knock it off.

Interesting.

All cultures of New Eden, except the Gallente with their concept of human rights, put little intrinsic value in a life of a random individual.

A person is most often seen as a part of something greater: a clan or and a tribe, a noble lineage, the State, the Church. Even the Minmatar, while considering a life of a kinsman precious, can slaughter outsiders or enemies en masse with little remorse. Same applies to other races of our time.

There were many occurrencies of human sacrifice and ritual cannibalism in pre-spaceflight history of different societies.

But only through the marriage of the Jovian cloning technology, Amarrian religious mentality, capsuleer dementia and the unforgivable idiocy of CONCORD, humanity was finally able to create Nauplius.

I remember reading an article on some stone-age Ealurian tribe - wiped out by the Empire, of course, but not before the missionaries recorded the peculiar habits of the savages. Their chieftains had a strange ritual where, to show the might, wealth and prosperity of the tribe, they competed in destroying valuables. Rare animal skins were torn apart, lumps of shiny gold and buckets of food were thrown in the river, intricately carved boats and decorated tents full of stuff set on fire. They did all this to show each other that they could.

Now, we, the eggers, measure the combat prowess of each other in destroyed ISK, and this poor mad Amarrian thinks, that one day his God would look at his heavenly "killboard" stuffed with sacrifices and grant him a place in paradise.

Honestly, Naups dude, if you were just a nullsec gang member driving a Nyx with no pants on, deathly drunk and singing to Gallente pop in fleet comms, you would cause a lot less harm to the environment.

I can only hope that a data transfer error will catch you sooner than later. Keep killing him please.

Samira, please, I know you are angry, and I know Anabella can get out of line sometimes, but she really does want what is best for her people, our people. She is wrong of course, the best interest of the Matari doesn't lay with the Republic. Still, I am sure she would be just as willing as anyone else to stop Nappy given the chance.

That will never dent their population in the slightest.

And you call the Amarr racist, bigoted and ignorant. Oh, the irony.

In regards to the madman at hand, it has been the loyalist forces of PIE and SFRIM who've been the vanguard in the fight against his madness. Tinkling isk to his bounty from the safety of your station is hardly taking action, that's hiding behind an excuse. While Pyre Falcon and PIE do not always see eye to eye, we do acknowledge their efforts and give credit where it's due.

Last time you, or any other member of Gradient, did anything of note was to watch idly on the sidelines when the last vestiges of talent and credibility was forced out of your corporations confines due to too large egos and too little talent. Snarky comments on The Summit and huffing hot air on the IGS does not fare well against gunfire. Put your money where your mouth is, I've witnessed Kerhner's prowess in battle, and the odds are not in your favour, Rella.

So, yes, come to the battlefield. We all await your arrival with glee. Or will your chosen battlefield yet again be hunting the miners and contract workers in the confines of State high security like last time? Or will you actually commit to the fight alongside your militia brethren? You've made your intentions known. We are yet to see any sign of you. I am calling you to come fight the 'good fight'. Make an effort. Make a push. Do something besides another post of hot air.

You've sown the wind. Time for you to reap the wihrlwind.

This is what happens when religious fanaticism, racism and extreme mental illness intersect. Perhaps some of you oh so pious Amarr should spend more time cleaning up the mess in your own house that is Nauplius and his ilk (who you claim pervert your faith and skew the perception the rest of us have of you) and less time arguing semantics with me on the IGS.

Less than 48 hours between construction and the last tower being reinforced.

You are so out of touch that your ramblings on IGS hold less weight than your corporations results against 'this mess'.

At this point, PIE has saved more minmatar than Gradient. Even the questionable members of PYRE have made a grander attempt to save minmatar lives from.this lunatic.

*mutters* Stupid Concord. His minion left his stupid corporation to get a Concord shield. I can only hope my attempt to do *something* pitiful as it was let him get too distracted to notice his duel timer run out so stupid Concord got him too before he finished the job. Of course he came back. Stupid capsuleers and their clones.

And Ms. Rella? I've asked for help from Gradient peeps before, before I was with PIE. And no one ever showed up, like ever. Except Kyllsa that one time. And she's not with Gradient anymore either.

*gives a bright smile* I am looking forward to meeting Ms. Rella in Space if she ever undocks!

While I am loath to condemn another Sanist's faith, in this case I have no choice.
According to the Encyclical on Salvation from the Supreme Prelate of the Ordo Sani Calix:
Quote:
All things were created by the Lord, and the seed of faith is within all of us. God offers Salvation to all of mankind. It is only by our faith and the actions that our faith drives us to that we can prove ourselves worthy of Salvation.
...
The converts to our faith, now multiplied in great number, given the rise of capsuleers, must reject the old prejudices. In the Sani Faith, it is our actions by which we are judged, not our births. All are equal under God until the individual proves otherwise.

Nauplius, your actions are a perversion of everything the Sani Sabik believe. Your beliefs are not driven by a deeper desire to understand the Will of God, but of a psychopathic frenzy. What you have done is not sacrifice, but murder. While there are Sanists that do sacrifice people to God, it is at the Red God's command and carrying out His will. It is not done with hatred, malice or feelings of ill will.

I suspect that my words will fall on deaf ears on the part of Nauplius. To the rest of the Cluster:
The Sani Faith is open to all. There is no racial prejudice or bigotry. Everyone is called to Salvation and anyone can achieve it.

Ad maiorem Dei gloriam.
Sanguina, Priestess, Ordo Sani Calix
