Taken from Faction Standing page from UniWiki:

−5 = You are "kill on sight" anywhere in that faction's space. NPC Navies will spawn and attack you. Note that unlike Concord, Navy ships will not warp disrupt or scram you.
-2 = Agents of that faction will no longer speak to you regardless of corp or personal standing. Except L1 agents, these will continue to be available.
0.0 = You may join Factional Warfare for that faction.
6.8 = You may access that faction's L4 Epic arc.*
8.5 = unmodified Some factions will offer you a faction frigate BPC.
9.4 = unmodified Some factions will offer you a faction cruiser BPC.
9.8 = unmodified Some factions will offer you a faction battleship BPC.

1. Does this apply to Sansha nation too? Example: If you have a standing of 9.8 you get access to Succubus, Phantasm, and the Nightmare BPCs.
2. If you have 9.8 standing with Sansha Nation and go into an asteroid belt with Nation rats, will they be neutral/friendly towards you?
3. Does Sansha Nation have its own epic arc?

1. Ships and ship BPC's can be bought from the LP store.
2. I don't believe there is anyway to make belt rats friendly/neutral.
3. No. SoE, Angels, and Guristas are the only pirate factions with epic arcs.

1 - Yes, the Pirate Factions also offer ship BPC's for those with high Faction standing towards their Faction. I don't know what their Tag requirements are or if they even have a Tag requirement.. I'm sure CCP could give you an answer on that.

2 - NPC's not attacking due to Faction standing only applies to Empire Factions that control high security systems :

Empire Factions
Amarr Empire
Ammatar Mandate
Caldari State
Concord Assembly
Gallente Federation
Khanid Kingdom
Minmatar Republic
The Interbus

Basically all other NPC's will attack regardless of the location.

3 - Sansha shares the Amarr Level 4 Epic Arc. About half way through it players are offered the option to switch sides and complete it for Sansha. Standings are only checked by the Amarr starting agent for the arc. As such, players can have -10 Faction standing with Sansha and still be allowed to switch sides and complete the arc for Sansha and gain +10% or higher Faction standing increase.

All Epic Arcs can be completed every 3 months.

I digress...

So a follow-up question about question 2 (with my own answer but hopefully its WRONG) now arises... If you have a 9.8 standing with Sansha Nation. Doing Incursions will screw up your standing, right? Ugh

I may be wrong, but I think I once read that standing with pirate factions does affect the response of their station guns.

But that's about it.

I have bad standing towards sansha. Station guns didn't fire on me in stain regoin
