There Is No Punishment

Do as you will, for nor god or gods seem to bear your actions any mind. Take slaves without punishment and then condemn your oppressors with hypocrisy, for if something is truly watching you and weighing your soul, it refuses to intervene. Justify violent religions and wars without end, and believe that your ideals alone take precedence over all others. Without divine retribution there is no truth, so why not hold fast to your own ideas and misconceptions in the face of all rational opposition?

If god itself does not tell you otherwise, then all things can be manifest in a universe driven by chaos and the blind creationism of evolution. You can believe that you are a god and god itself will not move to refute you. You are permitted the impermissible, either by divine over site or by deliberate design.

Now that you know this?
Do you chose that path, or do you attempt to scale the summit of a higher reasoning?

Given a choice without consequence... without any consequences for your actions whatsoever, how many of you would choose the harder life? How many would choose the longer and more prosperous path and the harder choice? Perhaps that is the illusive purpose of the divine experiment after all, and the highest possible aspiration. To commit oneself to a path of ascension and righteousness in the absence of all law and consequence. To realize that there is no god, and then to continued being a righteous and free thinking being despite god's absence. To know that there is no god, and yet be a being born of a ascended and ordered sentient existence.

You have been warned.

Is starting bogus religions endemic to capsuleers?

Hmmm. Maybe I should start one.

I mean, I already have people praying for me to shut up.

Some men's god are their own ego.
You already have a religion unto yourself, you have just not yet realized it.

A perfect example of an act of ego, the worshiping of oneself and a supposed god not intervening.

You're committing your own crime of ego as well. Simply assuming your own actions require any sort of attention from the Divine is rather arrogant, don't you think?

Further all this talk of the utter freedom from consequence is rather silly. All actions have consequence, all words have consequence. The hand of the Goddess need not come down and slap you across the face, but one of your own, your peers, will judge and levy consequence upon anything you say and do.

“return of the dark light from the heart of the mother”...

Prophecy culminating, or do you guide the circumstances to fit prophecy? And you are wrong, there are many gods.. You yourself have pointed that out. Just because no True God, pun intended, has spoken to you, it simply means that you are beneath his or her contemplation..

Anyone who says they know the truth of God, simply shows that they have no clue.. The search is the reward.

You are correct about freedom, I'll give you that..

It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then, and it's a poor sort of memory that only works backward.

You spoke, I think, more truly than you intended to.

Obviously there's no god - the fact that this thread exists at all is all the proof I need. If I was god, you'd better believe I'd be clamping down on this pseudo-religious psychobabble quicksmart.

Well, I'm not a religious fellow, so there's no god to suppose in the first place.

As for worshipping myself, you've got it all wrong. I worship cans, chesticles, gazongas, milk jugs and sweater-puppies.

Understandable, Myxx..

True Plague, a question on your art work, is it representative of a particle collision event? Interesting to see the concept of "art" making the transition. Though, I find it rather dilineated and unasthetic, but, such is my taste..
