Drifters Theory

Hello fellow pilots.

Today im here to discuss a possible theory around the drifters and who/what they really are.
So currently the theory around the drifters are they are of Jove origin but from what I have seen these Drifter battleships do not resemble Jove ships in design and their description states that their ship hull is of early sleeper design meaning they are not Jove but really sleepers or possibly the creators of the sleepers, this also brings me to the point that the drifter battleships fight along side the sleeper ships.

This theory of mine is based around the fact that the drifters are possibly the makers of the sleepers AKA Terrans that may have been trapped or have found some way back to new Eden.
The drifters being possible terrans goes back to the point I made about their ships design not being like the Jove as everyone thinks them to be and also the fact that their weapons are of new design and are more powerful than any current ships we know of and that Jove are not that much ahead of our current technology.

This is the end of my theory so far and updates to it may come. I am welcome to responses to my theory and any new additions to any parts to it

sorry for crappy layout >.>

The Adam cluster was cut off from New Eden tens of thousands of years ago. As such, the Drifters being Terran is highly unlikely. The Sleepers are actually a subset of Jovians, who separated themselves from Jove society some time in the not-too-distant past (e.g. A few centuries at most).

No, I'm not that kind of doctor.

Firstly, nice portrait Smile

Secondly, I don't think that's the case, really- the Sleepers (Architects) were completely human at the time of EVE's closing. They split into the Sleepers and Jovians and began genetic engineering FAR later.

That said, I have my own theories tooBlink

Highly improbable, yes, but true. During the age of the great Vogon Makeover Raffle and Corn Chowder Barbecue, the first Drifters were ejected into space and, just before expiring in the cold, hard vacuum, were picked up by a ship. The ship used a hyper drive that was functionally based upon incalculable improbabilities. The Drifters had a series of adventures before they subsequently managed to explore vast regions of the universe. Some say they actually visited the end of the universe.

Ultimately, the Drifters landed just outside of Eden where they were captured and cloned by the Sleepers. Unbeknownst to the Sleepers, the Drifters had factored in the unlikely possibility of being captured, enslaved, and cloned by a heretofore unknown hostile sentient race, and they (the Drifters) had implanted mutiny into the very essence of their own genome.

After years of being cloned, abused, and generally put upon, the Drifters decided to take off. Some Sleepers noted that the timing was strange because the entire population of Drifters, then in the millions, decided to leave on the exact same day, at the exact same moment, and while watching the exact same broadcast of an old unknown Terran who went by the name of Brian Williams.

Needless to say, the Sleepers were surprised and a bit angry when the Drifter clones disappeared with all of the bling-tech that the Sleepers had been working on over the last few centuries.

And so here we are...

The Drifters are obviously a race of powerful CyberWizards that came to New Eden to steal our precious stock of Magic Crystal Balls.

They also vehemently hate pure joy, glitters and sparkles.

How powerful will you be?

(Your Wizard Level equals the number of Magic Crystal Balls you own)

Wizard Level: 1337

You make me feel a tad stupid now after all that time thinking but the reason why I think they arnt Jove is the fact that they are aligned with the sleepers but eh
