So I had a perfectly working Singularity installation on my MacBook Pro (OSX 10.10.2), and of course the launcher updated when I ran /Applications/EVE\ Online\ Singularity.app --args /server:87.237.38.50.

Then a warning about a pre-release launcher, a small patch and a request to prime my cache. With all that done, I clicked Play as usual to launch the client for Singularity and.... nothing, but after a while this message popped up: http://imgur.com/3437hrQ

"TransGaming C Runtime Library ERROR-> buffer overrun!"

Help?

FYI... My TQ installation works just fine

Edit: I re-created my entire Singularity folder and started all over. When the time came after upgrading the launcher, I selected "NO", as per the dev blog instructions, to the question if I want to prime my cache.

The client proceeded to display a % based progress of a cache download.. Now here is the buggy /strange thing:

It got to 340/540MB in the download and the % number reached 100% already?

I then checked my incoming traffic for the launcher with a network analyzer app I have and I saw that the launcher was merrily downloading data for quite some time before it eventually stated "client ready"

Now however my Singularity Client periodically crashes in game randomly

I am facing same buffer over run error whenever i try to launch Eve TQ client. Tried reinstall and other stuff still not working. I am using Macbook Pro mid 2014 top model with nVidia Graphics. Please any help from our player base would be much appreciated because CCP is so lame that they launched a so called mac support for the game, i dare them to just come out officially and make a press release that we no longer support mac. So common CCP either solve the god damn issues or just say you can't. Make it an official announcement.

I've gotten that periodically for at least a year now. The Mac client leaks like a failing alliance, and it always has.

No luck pinning it down to anything in particular, though. It's always been a random crash. If you can find a pattern that would be tremendously helpful.
