Weird audio glitches

For some reason when ever I mouse over sigs in space via the overlay I hear some sort of weird static. I've asked people if they've heard the same thing. They've all said no. Maybe I'm crazy or they're lying.

It's a sound effect that is properly playing when mousing over a sig/anom bracket. Not a glitch.

"Tomahawks?"

"----in' A, right?"

"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

A sound effect that tends to glitch up and keep running, and sometimes will stack over itself, leading to some very annoying sounds.

If there was a sound effect I could totally mute in-game, that would be it.
