Cannot launch the client, launcher either crashes or doesn't patch

I left the test server client open during the night to patch, and something seemed wrong right away: the launcher update was being constantly downladed, multiple times. Just as the progress bar reached 100%, it would start over. But I thought nothing of it. This morning, I'm greeted by a broken launcher.

Does anyone have any idea how to solve this? I really have no idea how to do this. The launcher isn't blocked in firewall or Avast or something like that...
