Curious. Sensors indicate EvE players are showing emotion. Illogical, yet fascinating.

How is this gonna pass thru Legal? Permission from relatives? Copyright from the series (if were gonna use the opening phrase and all..)? Icons! 'They' might also claim copyright, etc etc.

@the man
...and my copy of I am not Spock/I am Spock is still left unread on my 'nerd stuff' bookshelf, sigh..

You can avoid the series just by having it after him the man, not the character. I doubt the family would say no if it was tasteful and what not.

My father is 95 years old. I'm so grateful that he's still around and still in mostly good health. I'm 35 right now. When you grow up with a dad that's that much older you just don't always realize how amazing and wonderful it is to have older people around. And when you're as lucky as I am to have my old man around in good health and stuff . . . you just don't really think about these things.

It never occurred to me that Leonard Nemoy would die in my lifetime. I guess I just always felt that he would always be around, like my dad has always been around. I guess I need to rethink things and spend more time with my dad and the other people I care about.

I honestly feel like I just read fifty shades of dumb. --CCP Falcon

"Enduring", "restrained" and "ample" as designations for starship components are foreign to the genre of high-tech science fiction and don’t belong in Eve Online. (And as for “scoped” …)

Cool, saw that on twitter and decided to run with it.

it's only myself, but left one anchored outside the SOE station at Arnon IX.

I don't think, it would be a good idea to use real world names / references for that.
Reason 1, like you said, copyright issues.
Reason 2, not to break the barrier between the fictional eve universe and real world.

A much more subtle approach, would be better, in my opinion.

I'm not one to nerdgasm but we must have a Nimoy ship in EVE. I don't care if it's super scarce. Heck, just make 1 and give it to Entity, I don't care but we must have something.
