Just returned from break - burner missions?

Hi

I just returned from a four year break and just learned about burner missions. Seems like a nice break from normal missions. But how rare are they? I''ve done 20 or so missions since I got back and haven't been offered one yet. I read about people doing 10-20 burner missions a day, which seems pretty weird since I haven't been offered a single one. Do you guys just decline normal missions until you get offered one, or what?

I do not decline normal missions except for those, where I have to fly in low sec. Yet I get couple of burner missions each 16 missions, for sure. Always decline them, but still getting them.

Sometimes I get two in a row,sometimes one on every 7-8 normal missions.Its random imo and probably have to do somethimg with standing with your agent(?)...
I decline those burner mission where you need brawler ship they are too hard for me,only can do kitting ones and they are easy.
