Ishukone-Raata Release [I-RED]: "Status of Jordan Kaine"

Let me get this straight.

Here we have an I-RED employee stationed either planetside or working at one of these Customs Offices when they're attacked and destroyed. I-RED apparently has neither the military capability (or perhaps will) to defend the facility, nor concern for the lives of the people there enough to have rescue craft deployed to respond to the reinforcement timer.

The people of Syndicate are, largely, not Caldari. We have no obligation to protect them. I-RED put up Customs Offices in the region as a benefit to the local economy. Now that we operate in a different region, diverting assets to defend these structures which are attacked quite liberally would be a tactically unsound decision.

Rinai Vero wrote:
His life in danger along with the lives of numerous other refugees, this guy sends out a distress call saying he's a valuable witness. All of a sudden, I-RED springs into action? At any rate, someone else rescues him.

Given his previous employment under I-RED, and the reasons for his termination of employment, we had reason to believe he could, in fact, be highly useful in our ongoing investigations into both the killing fields in Syndicate and the Tsuruma Incident. Securing Mr. Kaine into our custody was a tactically sound decision. Also keep in mind that myself, as well as another I-RED capsuleer, were on field during the search and recovery operation, although neither of us had the equipment necessary to retrieve Mr. Kaine and the other refugees.

Rinai Vero wrote:
That third party comes to an agreement with I-RED to turn him over with the assurance that he will be accompanied by a legal representative. That representative is quickly killed. I-RED says, "On second thought, this guy doesn't need a lawyer. Trust us its fine. All you people getting upset have no business being interested."

The legal representative was provided by Jandice Ymladris of Aurora Arcology. I acted as liaison of I-RED for the transaction of Mr. Kaine into I-RED custody. In order to secure him into our custody quickly, I accepted her terms and conditions, and allowed a legal representative provided by the Arcology to accompany Mr. Kaine. Never did I-RED feel a legal representative was necessary. Thus, it is rather a tragedy that this legal representative was killed during a Guristas attack, but such is the way of life in the cluster.

Rinai Vero wrote:
Best case scenario: this "witness" doesn't know anything but had a really good plan to goad neglectful I-RED rescue teams into action.

Our suspicions were correct, and Mr. Kaine has proven quite valuable to our ongoing investigations. I will say no further on the matter.

You can attempt actions Anslo, but I would be very surprised if I-RED or its allies actually stay in space and fight you. They will likely be afraid of you, and then claim that fighting you is beneath them to justify their lack of action. Also, as far as the statements made against my corp mates, don't believe everything you are told.

For Maker's sake... look at the announcer, look at Korsavius face. Whom you will see, Caldari? No, you will see typical Gurista!
If there were gurista attacking Mr. Kaine, I am ready to bet 10 million isk, it was either Korsavius himself, or his cronies.

Oh, and about Anslo. Please, don't pay attention to his rants, he like to threat a lot, but he is physically unable to do anything. Once that clown even promised I will never undock. He is just ridiculously stupid.

To be afraid of Anslo would mean to be afraid of a buzzing fly, who can't even bite, Ms. Valentina.

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

And Oniseki! Rants full of anger and colorful metaphors aren't suiting of you. Nor are they effective. The deaths will continue, Syndicate will be red with blood spilt because of you, and this will make the fields incident look like a minor vehicle accident.

You seriously need to get laid. Lower that blood pressure a little.

I'd say the same for you. Too bad she won't reciprocate those feelings for you though hm?

Taking stock, we have:

Vero, a Gallente nationalist who took lessons from the Soter school of public speaking.
Valentina, a rabid Sansha who just days ago was yelling to the sky that she was ready for her Master to take her away.
Kim, a frothing Provist who seems to be thoroughly willing to defecate on her fellow State citizens if they disagree in the slightest.
Anslo, who will happily flip a table and wave around his supercapital at the slightest provocation, demonstrating Capsuleer psychopathy at its finest.

I see now why Oniseki-Charantes-haani was thrilled when she no longer had to deal with you all.

More importantly, whatever the sequence of events, Kaine is back where he belongs: with I-RED. That we didn't self-destruct our assets in Syndicate upon our departure is a non-issue, as these assets have continued to see use by our associates in many cases. That we've lost several customs offices in the Y4Y7-Q constellation nearly four months after our departure, which wasn't even in our zone of control while we were in Syndicate, well... while I naturally regret the loss of baseliner personnel, anyone who knows the slightest thing about orbital infrastructure knows that it barely even registers.

I don't see the problem with expediency when a situation demands it.

As for the latter half of your statement, I can only laugh as you make ridiculous claims without supporting evidence. Keep trying, dear.

A truly unfortunate incident, surely. Such random attacks are not something you can always account for, however.

@Makoto:
I am not rabid, I assure you I am calm and diease free when I openly claim allegiance to the Master.

@Diana:
During my time under Anslo (a statement about corporate history not sexual history for those whose minds are in the gutter) I learned that he is prone to fits of rage and jumping to conclusions so that sometimes his rage is directed at the wrong people. I did however also learn that when he is mad, people die. It might not even always be the right people, but someone is going to die. To this effect I wouldn't call him harmless, he is rather adept at seeing destruction happen even. Despite how you may feel towards him personally he certainly undocks and isn't afraid to pull the trigger when he has the opportunity.

I have personally overseen and completed the debriefing of Mr. Kaine. I believe his information, if released, may actually work in our favor by casting light onto what exactly is going on. As such, I am prepared to allow a private interview with an approved neutral third party. Mr. Kaine's statements during that interview will be designated for public release. hopefully this will assuage any lingering concerns regarding his treatment and our intentions.

As per request I-RAT structures have been evacuated of all nonessential personnel. Engagement of wartime protocols have been established to minimize the loss of life, as assaults occur all personnel & civilians will be evacuated before reinforcement timers.

Not sure how I can contribute to this thread...

I will say though that accidents happen and its a damn shame that lawyer died at the hands of pirates...not really a pleasant why to go out..But at least we made some progress in tracking this bastard down..albeit a little..

It's all very amusing how people started to care when names came into play. People died during the S&R operation. If you actually want to help and are concerned - contact their families and actually do something to honour them.

So, what about the ones from last nights RF? What should I do with them?

My time is a bit tight, but if this can be arranged for between 01:00 and 07:00 of 117.02.28, I'd be willing to interview Mr. Kaine.

There is still hope for them to escape after the mode ends. If not I'm sure you will help the community see what type of lunatic you really are.
