Ishukone-Raata Public Release: "Status of Jordan Kaine"
>> Black Rise
>> Kurala Constellation | Prism Solar System
>> I-RED Mobile HQ

The following report has been authorized for public dissemination:

Yesterday, I-RED forces took part in the search and recovery of a possibly high-value informant by the name of Jordan Kaine in the Syndicate region. Thanks to the fast responses of various pilots, Mr. Kaine was successfully recovered in good condition. He, as well as the other refugees present in the escape pod with him, were transferred into the custody of Jandice Ymladris. Ms. Ymladris personally delivered Kaine to the I-RED offices located in the Wiyrkomi station in Prism; a public lawyer also accompanied Kaine.

At approximately 19:00 hours on YC115.02.26, a transport carrying Kaine and his lawyer was attacked by local Guristas forces while en route to a separate I-RED facility. Reason for the attack remains unknown, but given the proximity to I-RED's operational HQ, a response fleet arrived on field in time to save the transport. However, the transport sustained severe damage. Kaine remains uninjured, but his lawyer was killed in the attack. The Guristas forces were destroyed, and Kaine was picked up by a separate I-RED vessel. He remains in I-RED custody. The lawyer will not be replaced, but I-RED offers our sincerest condolences to his surviving family.

Why are you not giving him a lawyer?

Because he doesn't need a lawyer?

Jordan Kaine is quite happy to be back home with us, and I'm sure he will enjoy the quality time he will be spending with the Internal Watch and myself. There are important things to be discussed, and he has quite the sizable compensation package waiting for his cooperation!

Why do you get to make that judgement?

I'm the only one who does, my dear Anslo. It is in fact my sole occupation - to make these decisions.

Then that was a really stupid decision you just made.

Empty threats do not become you, Anslo, especially when you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I imagine you're upset about some perceived human rights violations or some such.

Why don't you ask Jandice Ylmdaris why he was handed over... I'm sure she'll simply tell you if was because he asked to be returned to I-RED.

You see, he wasn't trying to escape us. He was trying to reach us.

My empty threat just cost a few I-RED employee's their lives. More will die, and more Ishu-children will ask why mommy and or daddy aren't coming back from their job in space, until Kaine is returned to Jandice, unharmed, unthreatened, and unmodified. Anything done to hurt him, will be done to the employees of I-RED, and their families, ten fold.

Enjoy that 'empty threat,' *****.

Ishukone-Raata does not fold under acts of terrorism or threats from pirate organizations.. more-so from a severely unstable individual such as yourself. Kaine will be held in protective custody until we ascertain what exactly he knows about the claims against our organization.

Thanks for letting everyone know you care more about a single person than your employees en masse.

We'll just hold who we recover hostage as well.

Thus you prove you are no better then the people who committed the crimes at these killing fields.

I don't care. Hand him over, or your people die.

And trust me, the ones we recover? Won't die painlessly.

Maker's sake...Anslo have you thought to think why Mr. Kaine would have announced to E-UNI operational command that he is a self-proclaimed "high-value asset"? With information about the killing fields, specifically?

I speak on his behalf when I say that he wanted I-RED to find him. I cannot disclose the contents of our talks with him thus far, but he has proven very valuable in our ongoing investigation into both the killing fields in Syndicate, and the attack on Tsuruma VIII. He is quite cozy under the protection of I-RED's Internal Watch. And he will remain so.

Any reason why I-RED can't organise a dialogue or something between this Kaine person and Anslol to settle the matter on the nature of his 'return'?

It would help facilitate his 'fragging off' though.

I don't know Mr. Kaine...

However I did debrief him before turning him over to Ms. Ymladris.

What I know is that if Ms. Ymladris turned over these four refugees, including Mr. Kaine, then she felt it was appropriate to do so. I trust she made the right decision, as it was me who trusted her with the care of the refugees to begin with.

Asking I-RED to return the care of these individuals to Ms. Ymladris is akin to asking her to second guess her own decisions.

Not much more needs to be said now. Let's see what comes of this.

I didn't say turn him over, just take steps to completely banish whatever accusation Anslol sees fit to throw around to provoke hostilities.

It seems to me that Anslo is simply throwing a tantrum about being left out of things that aren't his business in the first place.

How unsurprising.

She's mad but she's magic, there's no lie in her fire.

I certainly could allow Kaine to make a statement, but we all know Anslo won't accept it and he won't stop murdering innocent civilians even if he did. Anslo is turning out to be little more than a mad terrorist.

Here's the thing, Anslo. You're a child. You're an overgrown manchild with your finger on a trigger, throwing a tantrum to get your way. Your trantrums happen to be willfully destructive to the lives of those around you, but that doesn't matter to you. You're the righteous one, and you're going to prove to yourself and everybody else that you're in the right and everyone else is wrong. Mostly to yourself though. Also that mean old Katrina Oniseki who won't do what you tell her to on the IGS.

Even if you did actually murder and/or torture any innocent people, which I doubt even you are capable of doing, you're only showing yourself to be exactly what I called you - a child. Hypothetically, if we didn't have a policy of summarily ignoring the demands of terrorists, I would still happily do so anyways. Thankfully, what I'm about to say is fully within the operational guidelines of the Ishuk-Raata Enforcement Directive:

Go **** yourself.
